Being a curvier woman it can be intimidating to shop for clothing that fits you especially when you’re in a boutique setting. Fabrik is not like any other one I’ve been in. They greet you enthusiastically and warmly immediately when you walk through the door. The associates give you space while you shop but always let you know they are there if you need anything. Each time I have visited, items have been pulled and put into a fitting room for me in regards to what I’m looking for, making the experience that much more intimate. I stopped by the store intending to check out some jewelry, and ended up having such a great experience! While I was browsing, Aliyah, one of the employees, started a friendly conversation and asked me about my style preferences. Before I knew it, we were chatting about an upcoming concert I’m attending, and she helped me pick out the perfect outfit for it! Aliyah was incredibly helpful, especially when I needed different sizes—she brought everything I needed right to the fitting room. Daughter purchased $300 at Fabrik for me for mothers Day. Unfortunately clothes didnt fit, and I went to the store to exchange. I was told they MUST have the paper receipt to do anything. Cant get an exchange or store credit. I told my daughter and she cant find it. Went back to explain and basically I was told too bad. So Im out $300 becasue we dont have the paper receipt. I can prove the purchase from bank statement, and all original tags and even tissue paper still attached. Store refuses to help becasue "that is their system." Dont shop here if you even think about returning anything. Poor...
