Creative Keepsakes Ceramics — Local services in Chesterfield Township

I am totally obsessed with Creative Keepsakes Ceramics! When I go there I feel so at home - Cathy and Gina are amazing and so helpful. They are friendly and out going - always willing to lend a hand. Since Ceramics is an art - there are specific guidelines you need to follow and Gina is 100% there to help you to be sure your special project comes out beautifully. Cathy is an amazing artist and knows the craft inside and out and is always there w friendly advice on color, technique, ideas and sometimes just to lend an ear! I really think it’s such a shame that people will go into a business and slam them for trying to assist them w something they know nothing about! For shame “Miz business owner” that you’d be so rude to talk smack about another business especially since you should know better. I think that someone like you might just be the rude insensitive one here- someone who goes into a business just to create trouble because you have issues and probably a chip on your shoulder?!? Maybe you should remember to use kindness as your sword instead of trying to do harm to a company thats brings some fun, creativity, and togetherness to people! It seems people forget common courtesy’s - we should be searching for new friendships and tranquility- which you will find at Creative if you go with the right mindset! I was there last summer with a friend of mine painting. I only had like 10 minutes left til completion on my piece but was kicked out and told to make an appointment to come back to finish. I didn't like this at all. The pottery places where I live in Florida don't give you a time limit. You paint your piece til you finish. Luckily I wasn't to mad because my mom wanted to come and paint so my friend and I made an appointment to come back with her. I finished my piece in 10 min and instead of sitting there bored to wait for my mom and friend I painted another small piece I knew I'd get done in the time limit. My mom wants to come paint again but is afraid because of the time limit. She felt rushed and her project didn't come out how she wanted. Came here with my daughter and a friend to do some pieces for Christmas in November. Was told when we left it would take two weeks. Called at the 2.5 week mark and they weren’t ready. Called at the three week mark- nope they’re behind. Called two days before the “last day to pickup before Christmas” and they can’t find my daughter’s tree?! Ashley, who answered the phone was always clueless and inconvenienced by a call. They finally found my daughter’s tree and guess what? It hadn’t been fired yet. The DAY before they’re scheduled to close. Unbelievable. I did end up getting my pieces on Saturday, but no lights or light kit because they were too busy to go see if they had any left for me to purchase.
