If you are looking for back issues then this store is OK. They don't have anything from the bronze, silver or golden era. Mind you, but if you're missing a random issue to complete a story, you might find it here.
I tried giving this store a shot and the 2 times I tried to do direct business. I have nothing good to say. I had put a new request for a comic book to be transferred from another store and was supposed to get a phone call. 2 weeks after I was told it was supposed to be in nobody had called so I went into the store and the book that was supposed to be set aside for me. Was out on the shelf? I was able to get it, but no phone call, and anyone could have grabbed it. So there's that and then today I go in for the fourth book of the plastic man series that I've been following. They tell me they sold out well. That's not possible, because the release date got pushed back. No one has it and the girl at the counter is far too concerned with her speakerphone conversation that I am unwillingly privy too and have to hear while trying to quietly enjoy walking through comic books. But no I get to hear that instead. While trying to search for the one single book, I've come in for Instead, I get completely misinformed information which I verified by calling another bookstore down the road who had to inform me it had not been released. So. Yeah, not going to be coming back here. I always try and support local comic bookstores. When I do buy comics, and that's become exceedingly rare with All the woke left-wing identity politics. They've been shoving in there lately, but when they do decide to write a good story here and there, I will absolutely support my local store first and since this place is right around the corner from my house. I thought, yeah, it would be the right thing to do to give it a shot and I was proven wrong. I will either drive to New Baltimore to Support That Shop Or I'll Just Order Them Online and get Exactly what I want. Because this place didn't get any of the five different variant covers that were offered. This is just my experience. I think when a customer walks in the store. You should get off the phone and be attentive. I don't care if it's a bookstore. A video game arcade, a barber, it doesn't matter what it is and maybe have a clue about your inventory, or what...
Read moreClean, well organized. Only getting a 3 star for 2 reasons. #1 they don't have any back issues, all new stuff and #2 nothing is bagged or boarded, lots of spine tics and creases. Otherwise really cool store with a lot of TPB's and collectables. I did buy a lot of the new comics I was looking for and they did have a lot of the variants. Don't think of my 3 stars as a bad thing, just not what I'm looking for in a LCS as a collector. If you're in the area it's worth...
Read moreWish I could have rated 0 stars. My husband walked in the door with my son and was rudely told We are not open from a woman shouting several times. Why is the door unlocked if you are closed first of all. Second of all, that is not a way to talk to a potential customer. Instead she could have simply said we are not open can you please come back in 10 minutes. It’s amazing how simple manners have seem to go out the window. You will never get business from my...
