I was excited to visit the flagship store and decided to take advantage of the winter sales they were doing. I love shopping at Aritzia and especially love buying their pants! Unfortunately I bought a super puff shorty with a defective button about a month ago in NY, I have the receipt but I already cut the tags. My husband encourage me to bring the coat in store and see what they can do. Couple days ago I went in the flagship store for the first time and I was holding a few pair of pants and thinking to buy them. The employee named Elaine (I think) she approached me by asking if I need assistance and etc and I told her that the super puff I’m wearing right now has one defective button and I no longer can button it without having the button pop off. She told me to come up to the cashier concierge and will ask the manager to see what they can do. The manager from the corps (that’s what Elaine was telling me) I told him what happen and he ask a couple of questions how did I fix the button etc and showing him how the button isn’t working properly anymore. He tried to button the defective button I showed him and it popped off immediately. The first thing he said was “you’re going to get a new coat today” and Elaine walked me to the super puff coat section and try to find the exact same style, color and size for me at the store. She did mentioned if we can’t find the exact one we can order it online for me. I’m glad I was taken care of and we finally found the exact same one at the store!! I showed them the receipt, they did an exchange and of course I make sure all the buttons are snapping on appropriately and I got the newer version of the super puff shorty which has the zipper pockets instead of buttons. Everything is the same but I have the pockets with the zipper! I went with a friend that day and she end up buying her very first super puff coat after I told her what happened!Overall, 5 stars for customer service, keeping loyal customers and I will continue to...
Read moreEveryone can agreed that this location is very beautiful. It is two floors I am beyond disappointed with the return policy at hand be very AWARE that if you buy an item discounted, you will not get your money back to your form of payment you will rather be forced to get a return for another item or store credit. I understand that this is not the employees fault or they don’t make the rules but honestly the way that they treat the customers is not it. The store and clothing is nice but the customer service should be even better. It will keep the customer coming in and today I feel like I will never be there again. Also, there was another encounter that I experience when an item was 40% off, and when I got to the counter with the cashier they couldn’t acknowledge the price. The reason was because the item was no longer on sale, and passively said that they didn’t have timen the time to take take off the items tag off since they recently had a huge sale? Now this could be a major turn off because I got all happy up to the cashier, thinking the item was on sale, and it wasn’t. Also, I asked a young gentleman to bring me out a specific dress sizs and never brought it to me, or said anything. This is wrong in many ways, simply knowing it is too damn expensive for this service. Not acceptable in many ways Since Ive seen a group of workers there just casually talking to each other while at...
Read moreI love Aritzia, but I had a frustrating experience recently. Two days ago, I rushed into the store and grabbed some items that were on sale without trying them on. When I was checking out, I asked the cashier if these items were returnable, and she assured me they could be returned within 14 days. However, when I returned the next day to return them because they didn't fit, I found out that one item was 50% off, making it a final sale, and the other item, which was discounted by 20%, was only returnable for store credit. Once again nothing of the above was not mentioned to me during the purchase. I felt disappointed, especially since I had specifically asked if the items were returnable. And when I told the cashier that I was told just yesterday, that this item is returnable, she said “Well, this is our store policy, it makes it a final sale, it even says here on the receipt”. What’s funny though, is that I get the receipt only after making a purchase, so how does it make me aware of that information? I think Aritzia should make their return policies clearer, either by displaying them prominently in the store or ensuring cashier communication during the purchase. I've seen other reviews mentioning similar issues with return policies, so I guess that’s how...
