Tldr; their claims of using pet resistant materials are over-exaggerated. Dont waste your money.

Less than a year ago, I moved into a bigger home with my two 8lb cats. I knew I wanted a small loveseat couch as extra seating in my living room. After months of research I settled on the Nomad couch due to claims of the material being more durable and pet resistant than others.

When the couch first arrived, my cats immediately took interest in it, but did not attempt to scratch the material for some time. I regularly clip my cats claws to prevent damage to furniture. However, I started to notice loose threads here and there as time went on - nothing serious until yesterday.

After stepping out of my living room for a few minutes, I came back to a completely torn couch corner with both the material and some foam missing. This was less than 1 year from purchase.

For comparison, my article couch, purchased 6 years ago, has been scratched and attacked relentlessly without ever tearing. Patching up the burrow couch yesterday, it became very clear to me that the materials used are woven far too loosely and have little to no resistance. Furthermore, the looseness of the threads make it hard to sew back together securely. Now, since the warranty doesn't cover pet damage, I'm stuck with an expensive couch and constantly worrying about it falling apart or just getting rid of it entirely.

Customer support continued to back their claims of "pet-resistant" when I contacted them, but I've never seen any upholstered item get destroyed so easily like this.

I'm extremely disappointed that Burrow would ever make such far-fetched claims regarding the materials used and will definitely not be making any...

Excellent service and a great selection of modern couches with great quality. The employees who helped us were really nice and easy-going! I really enjoyed that our sales person gave me and my partner room to decide which couch we wanted, and not be pushy with us like other furniture outlet employees would have done; it really made our experience unique.

The only issue we had was the payment interface. If you buy a couch through them with the 12 month plan through Affirm, just make sure you have someone guide you through the setup process because the interface isn't very self-explanatory. It was a little too easy for me to accidentally buy my couch in full instead of set up the Affirm plan.

But when I let them know my mistake, they were very nice about it. They returned my purchase the following day, and sent me an email with purchase links to the couch we wanted. They even let me know of the next sale in the future in case I didn't have time to get this couch before the current sale ended.

All around excellence in handling my mess up and great customer service!

P.S. The process of purchasing online seemed similar to purchasing in person. It looked like they pulled up the website to enter your information for you. So it never hurts to go and try the couches in person, leave and think about it, and buy...

Have been a fan of Burrow for a while and then the weekend of their 20% off everything sale I found out they have just a few showrooms in the country and one is right here! The staff were so helpful.
