I went here two weeks ago to have a fill and my polish redone. Sunday There was a woman there that did a fantastic job so I returned so that I could have her do them again and get a pedicure. Well she wasn’t there and I got another woman to do my nails. Who rushed through the job and lo and behold on Monday night after I get out of the shower, I look at my nails and one of them is peeling. I haven’t even been back to work. All I did was my laundry So Tuesday morning, I called and asked if this woman was there. They said yes and come on in. When I arrive, she’s not there they don’t even know who I am talking about. The gentleman who was attempting to help me, didn’t even believe that I was there said there was nobody at this net by that name finally called the owner and told me to come back in an hour. OK, so I come back in an hour and they decided just to fix the one now, no I said as I told you earlier, I wanted them all done and by all I mean, the nails file properly and the polish reapplied . Well, after much hemming and hawing, I was finally able to to get the polish removal started to which he said what did she put on your nails to which I said I have no idea. I don’t work here- after several exchanges like this I realized that I was going to run out of time. I have to go to work. I am here with Harry Potter and the cursed child and I have a show tonight. I was told to come back tomorrow which I cannot do. I can’t return until Friday so this is what my nails look like now I cannot recommend this place at all and not even sure if I will be returning on Friday to get this fixed. so maybe for a one time job you can go here but if you really trying to establish a relationship with somebody to get your nails done on a regular basis, this is...

I came in for a no-chip manicure, and unfortunately, had a really disappointing experience. The owner of the salon started my nails, and right away, it felt like she didn’t want to do them. When I asked her for help picking a polish similar to what I had before, she responded with an irritated “I don’t know.”

She shaped my nails poorly — nothing like the last time when someone else did them beautifully. She seemed distracted by everything going on around her and wasn’t paying attention to my nails at all. They ended up uneven and just poorly done.

At one point, she tried to offer good customer service by asking if I wanted something to drink, but then never brought the water. I already felt like walking out, but I needed my nails done. Then she told me to wash my hands and said someone else would finish. That person was busy with other clients, so now I was just left with waiting. It’s not the tech fault at all, so please don’t blame her. It was the way i was handle by the owner of the salon. . I was really frustrated, especially since the last time I was here, I had such a great experience with a different nail tech who took their time and did a beautiful job. It was disappointing that the owner herself didn’t show the same care. I ended up just paying for what was done and leaving.

Overall, it was a bad experience, and I won’t...

This has got to be the messiest manicure I’ve ever had… I kept having to point out areas that needed to be done properly to both the manicurist and pedicurist when all I needed was to relax and get a professional touch. I was eventually told if I wanted to get good service then I should book an appointment and not walk in. Excuse me, if you don’t have time to take a walk in then simply don’t. I didn’t force myself on you. The manicurist even use the cuticle trimmer to chopped off part of my skin because she wanted to remove nail polish that spilled when she polished… she could have just buffed it off. When I told her it hurt me, she was being defensive and said that’s the only way she knew. All in all, I had a bad experience. I’m sure they’re not like this with everyone but I’ll never go back there again.

I was in Chicago for a 24 hour work trip and decided to wander in on a random Tuesday evening for a manicure and pedicure. Jill was quick to welcome me and then get me seated and comfortable. One of my favorite things was that there was a reasonable number of gel colors available because usually when I arrive at a salon I suffer from decision fatigue having to choose from 4/5 brands and upwards of 200+ variations of the same colors. Jill made me feel so pampered knowing I was in from out of town and made me the best cup of ginger & honey tea. Her and Sam worked on my pedicure and manicure at the same time which made the whole experience quick & easy. I hope to come back next time I find myself in Chicago!

Absolutely love my nails by Mimi. She was patience and accommodating. She loves to draw which helped with the nice funky swirly lines I asked for. Thank you Miami. And the service is really good and professional. Update: I’ve been going to them for a month now. Every time the experience is good. Mimi is my go to girl. This second (second picture: Easter/spring color flames) set Mimi And her Sister collaborated on my nails and they came out great. This shop is up to date with trends. The prices are perfect. They are also great with taking care of your nails as well (the spring color flames are my natural nails).
