I would like to start by saying my husband and I went to Chicago to celebrate in April. We stayed at the Four Seasons & went shopping around the area. We bought items at Versace & Dior. When we went into the Prada store, the young guy who worked there was super judgy & followed us around the store, totally normal, but instead of trying to engage in conversation or maybe sell us something or talk about the weather or anything resembling a normal interaction, he was a mean girl who squinted and silently stared at us (the same nasty mean girl who sighs & rolls his eyes between squinting that many other people have noted in all the other negative reviews about this store) & it was obvious he didn't want to sell us anything because we were hoofin' it around the city, looking like the tourists we were & he was judging us by the clothes we were wearing.(Don't judge me you judge-a-roo, go play your judgery-doo!) After the poopy-pants attitude attack, we decided to go nextdoor & spend our money at the Versace store instead & it was the exact opposite experience. (Not to mention the exceptional experience we had at the Gucci store!) We walked in and the gentleman who worked there was a champ, kind, fun, & engaged us in wonderful conversation & I bought a beautiful pair of sunglasses with him. What an awesome experience we had at the Versace store! I wish the Prada store could take one note from the Versace store employees! (I'd like to note I grew up in one of the biggest tourist towns in the country, where customer service is in our blood & sold millions of dollars worth of beautiful Prada when I lived there, this employee is single handedly giving this store a horrible look, feel, & impression of the entire area, which I don't think beautiful Chicago needs right...
Read moreRecently purchased a pair of sunglasses from the Chicago Prada store, and let me tell you what…. Worst. Experience. Ever. First of all when we purchased these glasses they came in a box that was all beat up and had dents on it. Not a very good luxury brand if they are letting customers go home with broken things. Second off when I had decided to return this junk they made it such a hassle for me and were very shady about it. Now just wait until you hear what the lady that helped us did when the return arrived. After I shipped these back to the store to be returned my tracking showed they had arrived and was accepted by Gonzalez. I was told by Prada customer service I would get a call from the store when they arrived. I’ve waited 4 days and no call so I went out of my way to contact the store. When I was transferred to the Chicago Prada store they HUNG UP on me. After that I got customer service to contact the store for me and they tried lying about not receiving the return until they said the tracking number showed that the package was arrived and accepted by the store!!! Then apparently it magically had just now arrived. Even though it had arrived 4 days ago and was accepted… So shady. Finally will be getting my refund here soon but no customer should have to go through all that and for such crappy service I will never come here again. Hope this review helps other customers stay away from this store. Shady shady workers especially...
Read moreObsessed with my new bag! Was visiting Chicago with a friend and we decided to do some shopping. We were turned away from most stores being appointment only, which I have not seen in other cities I’ve visited. We saw someone in line at Prada and thought we may get in. We did! The security guard was very polite and friendly while we waited. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Tracy. I told her we were just browsing, until I saw the most stunning green bag I have seen. I immediately asked to try it on. She was very polite and answered any questions, without being pushy at all. I had been looking for a rounded green bag with a zipper for over a year, so decided to purchase! She suggested I get it delivered instead of carry it out since we were flying, and to save on sales tax (only 1% lower in TN). She then texted me the shipping info and told me I could follow up with any questions!
My only gripe through this process would be with UPS, it arrived an hour earlier than the expected window, they left it sitting right inside my fence by the road, and did not ring the door to have anyone sign for it! Thankfully I got it before rain or someone took it. It arrived in very inconspicuous packaging, save for the return address showing Prada. Inside it was packaged very nicely with tissue, the storage box, receipts, and papers for the...
