Tran Nail Salon — Local services in Chicago

I live in the building above from where this place is, that is the ONLY reason I subject myself to coming here. This place is terrible. I wait over 30 minutes from when I make an appointment with no apology. Every time I get my eyebrows done she burns them…I get scabs the next day. I’ve told her repeatedly the wax or too hot but she vehemently denies it is. There is zero effort in making this place comfortable for the customers…the couch where you’re supposed to wait is littered with their laptops, food, bags and other personal items. No music or television, just silence.

Made an appointment for two pedicures I spoke to a lady. I come in on time and let the lady know I was there for my appointment her response was "do you know the name of the place you made the appointment" (with attitude) obviously I did! She then proceeded to tell me she didn't receive a call and she had no time. I absolutely do not recommend this nail spot to anyone. I do have the call on my phone as proof I called and obviously spoke to someone. Terrible business not...

Stopped in with no appointment for a gel removal and mani and got one of the better manicures I've had and a moving history lesson via my tech's heartfelt recollection of her lived experiences. She was so vibrant and skilled, too; I cannot find a single flaw in any of my nails which is a rarity for me. Prices were VERY reasonable for being downtown, too. Will...
