BEWARE OF FRAUDULENT MONEY. Exchanged American Dollars for Indian Rupee (they gave me a couple 1,000 INR notes). Got to India to find out that India has banned the 1,000 rupee note for over a year and that it is actually illegal to carry. This place has no problem giving you money that WILL NOT work in the country you are going to. Research what notes are acceptable at your destination before you go. The rates here aren't even that good to begin with... ended up having to use the ATM there since banks are legally not allowed to take 1,000 INR notes. EDIT: Probably wasn't on purpose, but as a currency exchange they should know what bills aren't in circulation anymore. I was able to receive my US dollars as a check so I could immediately deposit it via my bank’s app. I’m glad I did, because right as I was leaving, someone snatched another customer’s wallet outside of the store and ran.
