Of course, everyone knows that if your stylists leave a salon, you initially panic but then follow them. Well, I moved to Michigan and I travel to Chicago to see my stylists at YRK. They are amazing. First off, it is an adventure to go into the salon. You ride on your own elevator, like in Willy Wonka, up to the salon. The elevator doors open and bam- it is beautiful all around- everything from the floors, to the music and bathroom fixtures says we love you and welcome. You realize this is where you want and need to be.

Now the stylists, they are the amazing. I see Richard for color- who is an intuitive colorist. He knows what you want before you do, but is not presumptuous. He is a great conversationalist, funny and has a way with color- aka fabulous. You cannot and will not go wrong with him as a your forever colorist.

Yasmine, is my hair stylist and she is an expert with scissors. I have short hair and need a cut every 4 weeks - her haircut is phenomenal- the best I have ever had.

When you leave this salon, you will look the best you have ever looked. You will want go back again and again and perhaps will travel across many state lines for the perfect color and cut. YRK is is magical and Richard and Yasmine are too. Once you get a cut and color here, you will follow...

I have been going to YRK Salon for over a year, and I absolutely love it. The salon is beautiful. Everyone is extremely friendly, and I always feel welcome. The stylists and colorists are wonderful. I love that the culture of the salon is fun and friendly while everyone takes their work seriously and stays active in their education about hair health, technology, and products.

I go to YRK for all my cuts and color, which is usually a balayage with some low lights and root melts. I also get a gloss with my cuts. I always work with Viviana and my hair, in her expert, creative, and caring hands, has never looked better. She is so thoughtful and takes the time to understand what her clients like or don’t like about their hair, their goals, and what is achievable while maintain the health of her clients’ hair.
