The first one damaged the ring while trying to resize it, the second wanted to charge over $1000 to repair it and even suggested that it might be better to melt the ring down and start over. By the time I got to Olde Gold, I was very skeptical of jewelers in general. Dropped my ring off for a simple band repair. When I went to pick it up it had a huge chip out of it and they gave it back to me in a bag and didn’t mention the damage. I had to be the one to point it out. They then said they would find a replacement stone. It took more than a month and stone they replaced my ring with has huge chunks out of it. Looks NOTHING like the original ring I dropped. They then took took zero responsibility trying to make it right.
