Upper Park Clothing — Local services in Chico

BUYER BEWARE!!! Extremely rude and arrogant staff, poor customer service, very limited stock. Taking advantage of one of their sales means you’re stuck with what you got. If you are buying presents and need to make an exchange for a different size, you can’t unless you purchased it at full price. For a company that has been around for 5 years+ it’s very shady they cannot stand behind their product and have such poor exchange polices.

Updated: Purchasing a gift by guessing the size is not considered “renting” a wardrobe in my opinion. Your response demonstrates the arrogance and lack of customer respect which I addressed in my original post. Customers need to know any discount means that all sales are final. So taking advantage of a Black Friday, or other offered discount, not necessarily a marked for sale product, would mean gift recipients would be stuck if the guess wasn’t correct. Also, if I did purchase items, which clearly I did not, technically I would be purchasing them at full price and getting a discount off the combined purchase price. I had been wanting to stop by an check this local clothing store out for a while. Finally, during the Slice of Chico I was able to check it out. My kids and I were greeted kindly with a smile. Which was great after finding out they had just been crazy busy due to the event. I believe the girls name was Brittney. Even after a crazy rush, she let me know she was available for any questions or help reaching anything, but also wasn't overbearing which is the best kind of customer service. I ended up buying an adult large t shirt. Great quality, I love the fit, and the price was not too high to keep me from purchasing it yet not to low to have me questioning the fit and quality. It is super soft as well. Ill definitely be back for sweaters for winter. My kids like the shirt and graphics as well. I'm sure I'll be back this summer to get them lined up with Upper Park apparel as well. Bonus is that shopping LOCAL busniess is a win win. These guys are very talented artists, entrepreneurs, and good businessmen. They gave me excellent customer service which is worth so much. As a last minute idea I wanted a particular shirt and design that they didn't have in stock for a present and needed it quick. They actually printed up the shirt for me and and shipped it overnight—all at a very reasonable cost with a smile on their faces.
