This was my favorite Ross all until "Frank" the store manager followed my mom and myself all around the store. He pretty much accused us of stealing a purse that we had decided we didn't want after all. We told the store clerk what happened and we asked for him to come speak to us since he made my elderly mother feel so uncomfortable/embarrassed. I saw him run to the back of the store and didn't want to come back out. Very unprofessional for him to have done that.My mother tried on a purse from one of the racks but but ended up putting it back because it was too small for her trip. We then proceeded to fill up our cart and headed to the dressing rooms. She waited outside for me along with my sisters. She then informed me how a man had been following them. As she told me this "Frank" the Manager abrubtly makes his way between us all and stands in the middle and pretends to check a price tag on a furniture piece. It was obvious what he was doing at this point so we decided to head out. That's when he approached me and asks if I "have seen a bag since he couldn't find it and has been looking everywhere for it." I said no and walked away . He keeps following us and I see the bag right in the front of the store in plain sight and point that out to him and he says" thank you I was looking for that".Well I didn't know that shoppers were suppose to help managers with inventory. How can you racially profile someone when you yourself are a minority? No shame whatsoever. The store itself has great items and beautiful furniture all at reasonable prices. It's been my favorite Ross for many many years but I will be checking out other stores. Thank you...
Read moreOn July 3 at 8.15pm we made a purchase at Ross 4032 Grand Ave, Chino, CA 91710. The two employees, their names were Veronica and Dana, made me feel very bad We shopped at all Ross places but when we returned them they were unhappy, we still bought new items and returned the item that didn't suit us. They tell customers where to buy and have to pay there, why? When we complained and they were very impolite, glanced at us, and showed a very unpleasant attitude towards customers, I asked Veronica's name to call Ross's hotline and she said she didn't care and then left. Looking at the badge on her chest, Veronica was a supervisor or upper management, but being a manager had to be good while she was terrible. Customer service from Ross was terrible and we were left very unhappy, having spent an evening shopping in vain. I sent an email hoping that Ross would adjust the staff so we could continue shopping or not...
