Products are amazing. Some of the people who work there are absolute Angels. Keep on living. Unhappy people are rude. Not our problem. Very strange joker looking employee person who looked like they were wearing a mask for Halloween or Mardi Gras but that was just how they decorate their face on an ordinary day...Labor Day. It was scary and bizarre.

A very kind young lady helped me with what I needed and a surprise item that I didnt know existed.

A rude female who never once even smiled, saw me put down my purse and bag so I could put my phone up. I went bent down to put the phone up so I could look at their products that I am not familiar with. Her tone was rude and dismissive. I have never shopped at any large makeup store. Never. Just started wearing a wonderful foundation for mature skin. Nars Light Reflecting foundation. Was waiting on my correct shade to come in the mail. This rude employee treated clergy like I was a security risk. I just smiled and kept giving respect. I was standing there as the kind young lady said she would send someone to me to get info about an under eye smoothing product. Nars under eye brightner didnt work for me. She said add powder. I dont use powder. I saw a makeup vid online of a very elder person whose makeup vid shows her applying under eye makeup.....makeup....that made her under eye issues disappear. It was not a skin care product..,. The rude female sais no makeup product does that..Well the vid showed makeup being applied and the vid was about great foundations for mature skin.. Her know it all rude ...are you a thief attitude make me decide to only buy what the original kind young lady showed me. I had a good day regardless. Ulta was more kind. Did not have my foundation, but they were kind. Two different locations. Sephora is known for young snobs employees.. They didnt disappoint.. So thankful for the first Angel who helped me. Without her, I wouldve made a blank trip. I had to ask for help. Cant stand forever. I rather buy online or visit Ulta. Respect goes a long way.

Went in for my birthday gift which I’ve never done at Sephora but saw the email and decided to go today and when I walked in, it was super busy and the line was long. Didn’t want to hold up the line for a free gift so I saw a worker standing by the perfumes and asked if I had to purchase something to get it or if I could just pick it up as again this was my first time. She started off pretty nice and said that I could get it at the counter so obviously I went to stand in line. She came up to me after 5mins and asked what gift I would like. I didn’t hear her since it was loud and was confused because I could barely hear her and apparently that ticked her off and she was irritated that I didn’t hear her the first time. I didn’t want to take up her time so I said “the second option sounds fine.” She rudely said “just come here” and showed me the two options and after seeing the specific brands I apologized for not understanding the names she said. As I was putting in my number, she threw the box in the bag and tossed it on the counter to where it fell over and walked away. I was pretty disappointed in the service and the way she acted towards me for something anyone would be happy to claim on their birthday. I’ll be ordering it online to avoid this situation. It’s not anybody’s fault that these workers get in a bad mood to where it affects their customer service. This isn’t a drive thru where it’s a quick thing, some people genuinely don’t know about specific stuff where it requires to have some conversation...

I called this store in Otay Ranch Chula Vista to ask about the Pat Mcgrath blush. The person over the phone said... yes we have them, yes we have all the colors, yes we can help you to find a right shade for you. I mean that's what you expect from a store like this... this kind of service no less. BUT NOOOOOO. I GOT THERE AND THIS "OLDER WOMAN" THAT GOT TO BRING OUT THE BLUSHES TO SEE.......... OMG SHE WAS SO RUDE TELLING ME WHATEVER SHE WANTED INTERRUPTING ME NOT LETTING ME EXPLAIN TO HER THAT I HAD CALLED AND I EVEN SHOWED HER THE PHONE NUMBER..... I DID CALL THAT STORE......I SHOULD HAVE ASKED TO TALK TO SOMEONE ELSE... BUT I WAS TOO BUSY THINKING... POOR WOMAN SHE GOT F... IN THE A... WRONG.... I gave this store a 5 star review because of the young woman that saw me and walked towards me and asked me if I needed help. She did help me look for some tweezers, she helped me spend my rewards points... she saved this review.... for the store. Seriously people... if you are too old to work there... maybe you feel too tired of hearing people's needs, thoughts, and don't want them to spend their money with you.... go...
