R&B Tea, Otay Ranch Mall — Restaurant in Chula Vista

I have been at this boba shop many times, but this was my worse experience ever as a returning customer to this boba shop. So I bought 2 brown sugar boba milk with boba (since brown sugar already has boba, adding the 'with boba' makes it extra boba) , and a Jasmine Green Tea with boba (had no boba so I added it to make it with boba, this one had the regular amount of boba) . When I got my order, I took it and went to my car to check it out and found out that I had about the same amount of boba in all 3 drinks. I went back into R&B and told the employees about it. They claimed that they definitely put 2 scoops of boba in my drinks that had extra boba, and the reason they looks the same is that the boba cannot be seen since the drink is covering the supposedly "extra boba" in my brown sugar boba milk. I tried to tell them that both drinks literally look like they have the same amount of boba. They just said that it was because of the color of the boba used in brown sugar compared to Jasmine Green Tea and again claimed that the liquids of the brown sugar milk is covering the boba unlike the Jasmine Green Tea which they said is more transparent. I believed them as this is a first and took my drinks and left.

I went home and popped the straw in to start examining it and my family members who got the other drinks also examined theirs. We used the straw to see where the boba was at, and all 3 drinks had the boba at about the same altitude. All 3 drinks are the same size, so it was obvious that we knew that there was not double the amount of boba in the drinks. Then I started drinking the drink and I finished the bobas first as this is not what happens when I get extra boba, the drinks is always finished before the boba because there is double the amount. Remember, I am a customer that have returned to this shop many times with my drinks having extra boba every time I order. Also to add the extra boba, for both drinks it costed $2.00 and I did not even receive for what I paid for. The employees have lied about adding the extra boba. I really wanted to believe them since I had pretty good services every time I came to this place, I was still suspicious about the extra boba after coming out of the store as I know what the drink would look if it had extra boba. Every time I get either the Taro stormy, Jasmine green tea, or the brown sugar boba milk and I would always add extra boba. This time coming to get a delicious boba drink is truly a disappointment. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by smiling faces and an overall happy vibe the place was clean and cute. I also love that they seem to be involved with the community, they were doing a fundraiser to support suicide prevention/awareness and I am all for it. They were handing out samples of their bubble waffles which were super good, but I wanted boba tea. They had so many different styles of tea it was hard to choose so I asked for a suggestion and was told the Hawaiian fruit tea was good it’s either black or green tea with chunks of tropical fruits and lemon. I got it with black tea but added boba to it, it was everything I didn’t know I needed. I sat and drank it and got one for my daughter waiting at home. We had been ordering tea almost everyday after school. Today was the Fourth Time we entered the store and quickly realized the rap music 🎶 being played was disgusting ! Every dirty word you can imagine INCLUDING the "N" word was blasting through the speakers. I asked for the owner and was told they are not here. Next a young asian woman came out from the back and told me to get out or she was calling Security ! I told her go right ahead and call Im waiting for my order. We then walked over to the Otay Ranch Leasing Office and reported to them what my 10 year old was listening to while we were waiting for our tea ! We will never ever go back ! What is wrong...
