I'm gonna be brutally honest here, cuz that's who I am & I'm not afraid to be.... The night My Husband & I visited the Western Hills store was a very unpleasant shopping trip. The staff was VERY Disrespectful in the way of following Me around the Whole F**king store, watching My EVERY Move cuz I had My hood's... Yes hood's plural... Up covering My head... I Despise Winter & the cold & I was freezing that night... like I was some kind of thief, & that I AM NOT!!! I DID NOT appreciate it one bit that they thought that I was that type of person. I don't take kindly to being Disrespected What So Ever, & we was planning on spending a Good amount of My income tax return on getting myself some Marvel Comics Decor & what not, some crafting supplies & various projects for us both. But instead I made it VERY WELL KNOWN just how Dissatisfied I was that night, I didn't buy a DAMN thing, & I made it Crystal Clear that I will NEVER shop at That establishment EVER AGAIN!!!!!! I work in retail, & I'm Sorry but U can't have your customers feeling uncomfortable while shopping your place of business. Managers & their Employees are supposed to make the customer feel welcome & their shopping experience a pleasurable one, so they keep coming back. Read moreStaff was fine, store was fine, manager though.... is terrible. As other people have mentioned having issues with being followed in the store and such, my husband had a similar experience. He was asked if he had stolen something that he had purchased and put in his pocket before going to hobby lobby. (Those dumb fake gold leprechaun coins). He even had the receipt and showed it to them, but obviously they didn't believe him as they then followed him aisle to aisle staring at him. At that point he felt uncomfortable and loudly said "if you're going to act like I'm stealing and follow me aisle to aisle staring at me then I'm just going to leave". So he left and the manager and cashier were whispering and pointing at him as he left.
Was there today and a guy had seen a sign stating some frames were on sale and when he checked out they said they sign wasn't supposed to be up but that if it was they would honor it. So the cashier called back to frames and they responded and said no such sign was up. The guy was pretty aggravated and said he would go show them where the sign was. I'm not saying they took the sign down and lied but I'm also not saying...
Read moreI was in today, I found lamps but just needed shades. I asked an elderly man in frames department if they just sell shades? He looked at me and answered No we don’t. That’s fine but the way he looked at me and said it was like he hated me. The unfriendliest customer service ever! Next I tried to find faux plant trees but I didn’t dare ask him so I found the trees but as I was browsing through them,,, a manager looking woman brushed past me and went into a locked door for employees. She was unfriendly also! For such a great place to shop the employee are hitler like!! I will say the cashier was friendly cause she was of color ,,, like me. Hobby Lobby needs to appreciate their customers! We pay their salary and it costs nothing...
