Extremely disappointed in Wok of China. We used to get food here occasionally but have preferred Dragon City on North Bend for years. Dragon City was closed today, so Wok of China it was. We ordered Garlic Broccoli, Vegetable Chow Mein with Tofu, two Egg Rolls, and Subgum Vegetable Soup. According to the menu currently on their website (as of November 2021), the total for this without tax (and adding $1 for the tofu) should have been $18.35. They charged us $27.30, and since they gave my husband no receipt, we have no idea why. Beware credit card users: there is a sign at the cash register saying they charge 4% if you use a credit card. Since we get 5% cash back on food purchases, this fee negates most of the benefits. (I should note that this fee would add 73 cents to our total, so there are still dollars unaccounted for.) Whether or not you use cash back credit cards, this alone is worth going somewhere else. I should also note that this fee was not communicated to us over the phone before we took the time to drive there and pick our food up. It is such a shame that they overcharged us in two different ways, because the garlic broccoli was phenomenal. However, considering the untrustworthy nature of this last transaction, we will never again buy food at Wok of China. If you decide to risk it, please do yourself a favor and triple-check your order and demand a receipt: you might be overcharged. Edit: We have since tried resolving the overcharge with Wok of China. My husband printed out their menu from their current website and took it down there to show them the discrepancies. They refused to give him a receipt (again), and told him that they know the menu on their website is incorrect (they blamed it on a third party). They also refused a refund of the discrepancy. They showed him a menu they claimed was correct, but it did not have most of the things we ordered on it save for the egg rolls, so we're not sure why they took our order from the old menu to begin with. We ended up filing our first-ever dispute with our credit card company over this and our issue was finally resolved. This whole experience was horrific. Please be careful with your money going here.

I grabbed some Wok of China for dinner shrimp fried rice and general Tso chicken that came with two egg rolls and I added cheese puffs I don't eat a whole lot at one time so I put a little bit on a plate in the middle of eating the rice I looked down and noticed the veins were still in the shrimp and the shrimp were not cooked very well I was disgusted I called the restaurant to try and discuss this with them and the lady who answers the phone was extremely rude her response was it's okay they're edible eventually we got to the conclusion that the only way I would get any type of money back was if I brought all the food up there well how can I bring all the food up there if I started off eating my cheese puffs four of them were gone out of the six I ate through some of the rice before I got to the shrimp she refused to give me her name so that I could tell them who told me that I could bring the food back so that was $20 plus a $5 tip down the drain very disappointed.

Delicious! I know a lot of people are complaining about prices, with Covid and a small business like this, I'm okay with it and do be aware of the 4% credit charge. They have a sign but they don't mention it to you. However, food is ON POINT! Chicken was super crispy, lo mein was awesome. I was sad they don't give a fortune cookie. But the noodles here are MASSIVE! Food was great, prices are comparable to others. I was happy. The man at the register was friendly, food came out quickly, hot, and yummy. Def will be back to this one.

I hate to leave a bad review at a restaurant with such delicious food. We looked at the menu on their website, and thought the prices were amazing! We ordered extra because of this. Our bill should have been about 32 bucks. When my husband picked up the food, the bill was $47.50! He was upset, but he paid and left. This was the night before last. Then I look at my bank statement today, and they charged our card $49.60!!! I took a closer look at the reviews and I see that this is an extra charge for using credit! That wasn't on the website or told to my husband on the phone. Anyway, I saw a similar review that this very thing happened to someone 9 MONTHS AGO!!! How hard is it to take down an outdated menu (which by the way...has no date listed that I can see). Why is this same issue happening now?!?! Also, that person never got resolution from the restaurant. They had to file a dispute. I called my bank, and they told me I would have to file a police report first! I can't even! It's such a shame, really. I had a thought to help them update their menu online, and possibly their website for free (because the food was so good). I'm a graphic designer and I just got certified to build websites. However, after reading so many reviews about how rude the staff is, their unwillingness to fix issues, and their apparent lack of concern about customer complaints - I don't even think...

Not the best experience. The woman answering the phone was very unkind. I asked if anything comes with the lunch specials and didn't get a response. She just repeated one of my orders. I then let her know we were new in town and have never eaten there before and asked again if the lunch specials include anything as there isn't a current menu online. She said "rice". Then I asked if soup or anything else was included and she said "sure". I had to then ask if certain soups were included bc she would not inform me of the choices. Then she said don't get soup if I don't like soup. I never said anything about not liking it and was asking what the options were. I then let her know again we have never eaten here and would appreciate help in understanding the lunch specials. She hung up on me. It was so much work to figure out that lunch includes entree, fried rice and I never figured out what soups were actually included. I called back and believe I got someone else who wasn't friendly either but wasn't rude. 2 stars bc general tsos is pretty good. The pepper chicken was not good at all. Also, 7.50 is more than I have spent for a chinese lunch special ever. Definitely not worth the price...
