Skyline Chili — Restaurant in Cincinnati

I have been going to this skyline for years and know I won’t be back even if it’s FREE. Couple mths ago as I was dashing and had to pick up an order there with 3 large drinks, it ripped soon as a picked it up due to it being super cheap. Asked the manager for another one he told me he couldn’t give me another one. I explained to him that I am a dasher and the first one just ripped. He told me I had to deal with it. I told him no he deal with it and I unassigned the order because I serve food with integrity and thats the same way a company such as this should. Ok that’s that. I wasn’t feeling good last night so I sent my daughter there to grab me an order of chili cheese fry’s extra juicy, extra onion. I’m on the phone with my daughter as she is ordering so I know she ordered my fries how I wanted them. However my fries had lil to zero chili and a BUNCH of cheese to hide it. I brought it back and asked the lady manager if they could be remade and I asked for extra juicy. . She tells me that they don’t do extra juicy so I said you do extra juicy coneys but don’t do extra juicy fries ? She said in a very nasty voice as if I was asking her for the chili recipe WE DON’T EVEN DO EXTRA JUICY CONEYS ! Thats considered extra chili !! I said I have been eating the same items from skyline since 1989 and have always got them extra juicy with no problem. I was even at THAT SAME location 2 days before this and got a extra juicy coney with no problem and no additional charge. She said I can remake them but I can’t give u extra juicy unless u pay for extra chili. I said I don’t want extra chili I just want them extra juicy. She said I can remake them but if u want them extra juicy it’s gonna take away form the chili cause I’m only giving you 4oz. Remind you it wasn’t even 4oz on there to start with. The fries only had a spoon full of chili dropped in the middle. I said well ok can you just re make them. She does but I see her go and put some fries in the grease that had just been sitting there in a pan. Not even in any type of cooler. I then said can I just get a refund I have my receipt she said oh no I can’t give you a refund. I said you can’t make extra juicy chili fries but yet you never said that when the food was ordered and now you want to serve me some fires that’s been sitting out for I don’t know how long?!?! I usually come through once a week and order through the drive thru. This said it's becoming a thing for this particular location to not get what I ordered. Noticed after exiting the drive thru that I did not receive my large 5 way, parked went inside and they knew right away what I was wanting. So, I thought cool they righted their wrong. Went home and to find out they also forgot the whole cheese packs and onions also. I then had to take time I do not have to go out of my way to retrieve them. I get there and explained the situation and the young woman reached into my bag to see for herself. Goes on to say that, "THEY" probably forgot because of the 5 way". This is unexceptional and the fact I'm constantly getting small bags for and order that superseded the small bag. Was never asked for any complimentary anything. Would've been happy to just get some extra crackers and hot sauce that was never asked while in the drive thru, but I guess since "THEY" remiss she's separated from her own team. What is going on Skyline Glenway location??????? Here's the kicker! When I ask for a bigger bag for a large order that is bulging ready to topple on the drive home I'm watching your employees do this eye contact with mischievous smiles. Great chili, a favorite & frequently visited by Cincinnati locals. It's said that when President Johnson & Lady Bird Johnson were in Cincinnati they stopped in at Skyline to eat. After tasting the chili, Lady Bird Johnson asked for the recipe. Since it was the president of the United States, they had to give her the recipe. It's said the recipe was later printed in a Texas newspaper when they arrived back to their hometown and the recipe is floating around in the hands of Skyline fans. It's now selling in grocery stores frozen and canned such as Kroger in other states, However, prepared skyline isn't as good as eating it fresh from the restaurant but still very good. The chili isn't a tomato tasting chili and is more of a beef tasting and contains cocoa and other spices which shouldn't be fed to dogs. They are well known for their cheese coneys prepared with steamed hot dogs, mustard & topped chili, onion & with finely shredded mild cheddar cheese. They're also known for their 3-ways of spaghetti, chili & cheese, 4-ways spaghetti, chili, onions or beans, & cheese & 5 ways of spaghetti, chili, onions, beans & cheese.
