Changing my good review on 2/15/24 9 A.M. because I'm done with Wegmans for real. The self-checkout issue I've always given Wegmans a pass because they have the workers at that little table facing the checkout aisles and if you're standing in line with only a few things most of the time they will take you over and check you out at that little table near the pharmacy. So it's like they almost have another checkout aisle if needed. But today I'm standing there with two items in the SOLITARY aisle open for service and behind me is an Asian girl employee in black standing at that little kiosk. So I look at her thinking maybe she will offer to check my two items out which would be great!!!!

Nope. Ok maybe she is busy doing something that i don't know about so I should give her a break. So I reluctantly go to self checkout and do it myself. But as I'm leaving I see her checking out an older lady at the little table?????

I was literally standing in line directly in front of her and trying to make eye contact so she would check out SO I COULD LEAVE. So she's discriminating against who she offers to checkout at the little table? WHAT is that the policy to only help older ladies?

I am willing to do self-checkout at Aldi and Walmart. I am NOT WILLING to do it at Wegmans where the prices are exorbitant on most things, even on their own brands. You can't have both. You can't have high prices AND ONLY ONE AISLE OPEN at 9 AM!!!! You are pushing people to ALDI like roasts in a fire. DO BETTER! DON'T EVER HAVE ONLY 1 AISLE OPEN IN THE STORE unless its RIGHT BEFORE CLOSING ALWAYS HAVE AT LEAST TWO AISLES OPEN YOU CAN SURELY AFFORD WITH YOUR PRICES! ISNT THAT COMMON...

Do not use this Pharmacy at all costs!! When you go in there they never have your prescriptions in stock so you go without (and literally every time I’ve gone there since Market Street Apothocary closed) it’s taken 3 trys to get them filled
give us 15-20 mins we will fill it now
25-30 mins later I go back and then they say ‘we only have a 1-2 days worth so you want it’ I say yes and they say we’re just filling it now give us 15-20 mins
go downtown to eat and stop back apx hour later go up and they say ‘oh you want your prescription, give us 15-20 mins then I go back and they say ‘oh you want your script give us 15-20 mins we’re going to fill it now.Keep in mind they were called in days prior! Then to top it off they deleted one of my prescriptions so I needed to contact my doctor, have her re write the prescriptions and then I go back up the next day and they say ‘give us 15-20 mins we’re just about to fill them’ and the process starts over again!! This hasn’t been a 1 or 2 time thing it’s been literally every single time I go in there! I get there are waits sometimes but when it takes days to get your medicine on a regular basis that’s not ok. I’ve also witnessed several other people deal with situations too there. If my insurance was accepted by any other pharmacy I’d go there but I’m stick behind a rock and...

"would've given it five stars but most of the food was cold" was my review about two years ago. Tonight my entire opinion was changed. I am now a mother of a two month old boy who had never been in a big store before. Because it was his first time he was understandably terrified. My husband and I were checking out and before I even started putting items on the belt I made sure the cashier knew I had a voucher because the check from my account at DSS was taking too long in the mail (keep in mind the money on the voucher was still mine and was still going to be deducted from my bank account). She was all smiles until we got to the voucher part. Instead of looking at the voucher before she started scanning items she waited until the very end and then isolated my husband and (still terrified son) and had me walk not even five feet from the first check out lane to take care of our voucher. I have never been so humiliated or outraged. It's one thing if it had been just me and my husband but to take a crying two month old and isolate him from his mom (he's a momma's boy ❀) is unexplainable and very mean to the child and just plain rude to the parents. I hope y'all take a really good look at your staff and fix...

This Wegmans is my favorite grocery store, ever. The employees are so kind, either with speed and efficiency at checkout, or helping with finding or replacing an item, or keeping the place spotless. The selection and prices of products blows all other stores out of the water (even Whole Foods). Their pre-made items are always quality and never old. Every time I buy fresh produce or bread they are fresh and delicious. There is never a moldy berry in the bunch, or a wrinkly pepper. It is always fun to see what new, unusual fruit or vegetable they have, and I've had to stop myself from buying the 20-lb Jackfruit. But I have got to try things like rambutan, daikon radish, kohlrabi, and baby bok choi, thanks to their great selection. All of their fresh products, meat, produce, have plaques to inform the buyer the country of origin. I also have switched from ground beef to their affordable Impossible burger and other selections of quality vegetarian alternatives. Might I add their selection of chocolate is unbelievable? They have all the attached in their "

Excellent Grocery store and more. Best one between Corning and Watkins Glen. They have a large Gluten Free section that is multiples what most stores have. Each department is well stocked and nicely marketed. There are several "Family Pack" aisles with bulk packed items offering good discounts. My only disappointment is that they don't have a house mad deli salad department offering things like spinach dip or macaroni salads. They also have a Market Cafe for in-store or take out dining. From salads to full meals. I was thrilled to see multiple GF Asian dishes that were delicious. The space is big enough to handle a bus of tourists coming in at once. Which is what happened when we were there. If you are traveling from out of town, mention it to your cashier and she'll use a guest card so you get the current discounts. It's a great service.

The lady at the meals to go is AWFUL! Completely disrespectful. I tried placing a cake order yesterday but the online wouldn’t allow me. So i called this morning at 9am and they said they can have the cake ready at 2. We get there at 3 and she NEVER PUT THE CAKE ORDER IN. they finally give me my cake and say “next time give them 24 hour notice” no “have a great day!” Nothing. So rude. Not even into the parking lot with the cake and it FALLS APART. i drove from Ohio to get this cake. Will not be returning. They need to work better on their customer service skills. Wouldn’t want the people at meals to go working for my business.
