Modern nail beauty salon — Local services in City of Corning

This is by far the worst place I have ever had my nails done. I asked for a full set of acrylics - they are the most crooked, bumpy, and uneven nails I have ever had on. It doesn't even look like they attempted to try and make them all the same shape. The polish is so sloppy, I could have done better myself. They do not keep their acrylic powder or solution in a safe place; it is in a gunked up metal container. They did not even clean the brush or change the solution. They just put new solution on top of some that had been sitting out before I got there. No wonder I know of two people who have gotten a fungus after having their nails done there. They filed into my cuticles and caused them to bleed. I was super rushed at 10:30 in the morning with only three other people there. They were extremely rude. The person who did my nails kept huffing under their breath and jerking my hand around. Not to mention, they messed up my nail by pulling my hands around and tried to blame it on me. They also are running a total scam - I had a gift card and they said they would not take it, even though it came directly from their store. DISREGAURD PAST NEGATIVE REVIEWS!! This place is under new management and my daughter and I had the best experience!! We were immediately welcomed as we entered and given some color swatches to choose from! I got a full acrylic gel set and was very impressed with the time put into the shaping of the nails. He checked in with me several times throughout the process to make ensure I was happy with his work!! He also perfectly got the color right even though I couldn't find my inspo pic 😁😬 he listened and paid close attention to detail!! Meanwhile my 9 year old recieved a beautiful gel manicure from another employee! She had requested a pastel green all over color with frogs painted on each hand for accent nails. (Super random I know haha) we showed an inspiration pic of the frog accent nail and they did an even BETTER job recreating it!! 🐸 my daughter and I are both so so happy with our nails and the welcoming professional environment of this nail salon! It was also stated that if anything should happen to my acrylic nails before 3 to 4 weeks to return and he would fix for no cost!! We will 100% be returning. Pics...

This is my first experience at any nail place ever because I finally stopped biting my nails so maybe this is how most nails places are but I really really hope not. My nails I guess looked okay afterwards. I just got them trimmed, no color or anything because I'm not a goth. My nails certainly looked better than when I went in but I seemed to have some kind of clear polish on my right thumb nail....wasn't a super big deal.. But I'm giving it a terrible review because staff was completely rude and treated me like a ghost. Guy looked like he would rather be doing anything in the world than doing my nails. Sorry buddy NOBODY likes their JOB! The girl gave my friend a short shoulder massage but I didn't get anything. Didn't offer me one of the tiny waters on the floor; I had to ask for one.
