Wild Ginger — Restaurant in City of Corning

Great Asian restaurant, local in Corning. I love being able to walk here for lunch, or get takeout dinner! The staff are efficient and attentive. The food is largely portioned, very fast, and delicious!

Lunch is never too busy, but yesterday I went for dinner and it was packed out the door! The two ladies were doing a PHENOMENAL job waitressing every table at once. The people waiting to be seated were not acknowledged until there was an open table, but I don't fault them for this because it was so busy!

I didn't have a reservation, and decided just to order takeout from the door as it would be faster. I got my order quickly, and gave them a nice tip for all their work! I'll make a reservation in the future if i decide to come again on a...

I went to the restaurant on the recommendations I read online and arrived to see lots of diners on a Sun. night, most of whom left within 10-15 min. of my arrival. I ordered and my miso soup was brought in a bowl that must have been in the fridge or freezer based on how it felt. The bento box was slammed down in front of me. The spring rolls were mostly dough and hardly had any veggies, but the chicken and broccoli was good. I ate quickly and left a few minutes after the last 2 tables cleared. Excellent Thai Restaurant and Hidden Gems in Corning NY!! We had an amazing experience at Wild Ginger in Corning, NY. The staff were friendly, courteous, and attentive, and the food was excellent — full of flavor and prepared quickly. The prices were very reasonable, and we even received a seasonal discount, which was a nice bonus!

We originally went to another Thai restaurant on the same street (Nine Elephant) that told us they had a table for 11 but only offered seating for 8, and their behavior was quite rude. So we decided to come to Wild Ginger instead — and we’re so glad we did!
