I contacted this location to have my baby shower. They are only open wednesdays from 7:30-8:30pm which is unheard of. A nice woman took me on a tour and explained we would have use of the kitchen also the day of event to heat up food. Please note, it is cash only! Seems like they are covering something else up but thats another story. The night before the shower, we went to set up and only had 2 hours. The maintenance man started harassing us that we had to leave. We packed up and left and said we will finish tomorrow. I asked him what time we could come to finish and he would not give me a straight answer and had a very nasty attitude. Saturday Oct 23 2021, my event started at 5, thank goodness i have amazing family and friends and they were able to finish setting up and decorating and everything looked perfect! We brought all the trays of food and then i was told i can not use the oven to heat up food. 1st issue. Then another polish man started coming around harassing my guests! I then get a phone call from his wife (the one i paid) and she starts threatening me that she is going to call the police on me because im having a halloween party and not a baby shower. She was screaming at me over the phone and i explained to her its a baby shower and my color theme was orange black and gold (basketball theme). Mind you im 8 months pregnant and she had no remorse what so ever screaming at me when she was completely wrong! The 2 men walked around my event the whole night being nosey and it was very embarrassing. We paid good money to have a nice event here and i was harassed almost the whole night! I've been ask to help my nephew in catering a party design and task preparation there for a teenager birthday party with family members to entertain and enjoyed. It was very clean open space for tables to prepare and seatings for main entrance and floor beautiful wooden floors stage references entertain or seating for special guests or to design and hand out food if delivery or preparation cooked or cook their vase on those who can afford what ever they like oh let's not forget parking lot space to park or dropping off. Best of all party flashing lights music decorative and feed. You're in and area that allow you to enjoy your evening and advent that occurred with security of neighborhood watch and patrol. So need a place affordable. Eli at Elegance affair will help you prepare your business occasion or otherwise. Returned to the Polish National Home in Glen Cove where I saw a speech and community session with those who were interested in seeing Glen Cove's Tom Suozzi run for United States Congress. Wondering if anyone feels that he would make a fantastic representative for Long Island. I'm pretty sure I would. I was pretty sure he could beat Spitzer. Guess I was wrong then, but look what happened. Eek.
