I bought some spyder headlights lights for my newly restored 350z fairlady Jan 21 they stayed in the box untill my car was out the garage and they were fitted end of Jan 22. They looked incredible and i was so happy after the amount of money they cost me. 9 months down the line they are peeling , I only noticed when I washed my car and 6 weeks before I washed it and there was no sign of peeling. What's happened. I contacted torqen who advised me they could do nothing due to warranty being past a year, get in contact with them directly they said, we can do no more. OK fine I'll try that, seems its for wholesale use only, so how are they going to help me. Short of it is they aren't! So here I am leaving a review as I feel I've been sold a product not fit for purpose when I could of bought Chinese export replicas for £150/200 on ebay and they would of lasted longer. I thought I was getting the real deal, So disappointed how is this OK. I've been told by torqen that it's not there place to help me. I will never buy spyder products again. I'm now having to fork out twice the amount of money to replace them. So disheartened and no apology will fix this. I was even told the bulbs I'm using are to hot hence the peeling, what a joke I know my cars and I researched this all before they were fitted I had plenty of time and was in no rush so I know I got it right, also its been summer and not exactly needed headlights and I don't drive my car day to day so it's def not wear and tear. I would expect 10+years before any kind of defect. Keep clear of this brand other wise it may happen to you and there will be nothing you can do. Warranty haha.......means nothing other than...

On August 5 2019 I bought 2 headlights for my 2014 Black Toyota Tacoma 4X4. On August 1 2021 I noticed that both headlights has condensation in both lights which our factory defective. I understand there I 1 year replacement if defectived. But you would since they have a great product. I'm a retired disabled Police Officer of 16 years of dedicated service you would think for the price I paid for these headlights last would last longer than 2 years I just barely could afford them being on socialsecuritydisability. I paid with installed headlights $ 349.99 with tax labor was $ 180.00 Total of $ 529.99. I can't keep affording this amount ever time there is a problem after the warranty expires if I did that I would go broke. There has to be a solution every time I turnaround I have to replace them, that would be totally ridiculous. If that's case these headlights would be then a very poor quality, and to me personally wouldn't be worth it. Having a 1 year warranty if there is a problem usually happens after the warranty ends, then your stucked with a worthless product and very broke. At this time would highly not recommend this product. All I to have them replaced plus the cost of labor that's all. And if doesn't happen then I will a company that would take care of the problem. I'm not very happy over this whole mess. You would think Spyder corporation could do something...

Ordered new head-light and tail-light assemblies from Spyder, via Amazon. I really liked the styling from the pictures but was unsure how they would be in person and unsure on quality. Both look great in person, great fitment and appear to be well sealed. Love the looks and how well they integrate into the truck; they look better than factory, much more modern without being gaudy or over the top.

The kicker for the 5-star review was support! Thanks to the brilliance of GM, they changed the reverse light housing of part of just one year (2010) and of course my truck is it. Called and spoke to a wonderful lady (Ms. Gonzalez) who laughed a little and advised me this happens occasionally, and put a pair of adapters in the mail immediately. Thanks to their support, no cutting or splicing of the wires and now up and running! Time will tell on the long term durability but no reason for concern so far and VERY impressed with their...
