If you're looking for a place to live in Ithaca that is central to everything, luxurious, clean, and has an incredible staff, look no further. This place is the best bang for your buck.
I found out I was going to be moving to Ithaca 2 weeks before I did to attend Cornell. The very next day after acceptance, an alumni notified me of Harold Square and told me to reach out. Vicki, the building manager, is the crown jewel of this building. There were no units available until October and I needed one starting in August, so she placed me into a two-bedroom unit (by myself) for the time being until my unit was ready.
Once it was time to move into my fully furnished, with literally everything included (kitchenware, t.v., internet, bed, towels, etc.), unit, Vicki asked me if there was anything missing from the apartment that I needed. I gave her a short list of a couple items and she had them in front of my door the very next day (unbelievable!).
I can go on and on about Vicki, the rest of the staff, the units themselves, the location, etc., but I think I've made my point.    Read moreOne-bedroom apartment- One of the best buildings in the commons. The staff is amazing, very helpful, and took good care of me and my safety. They always Went the extra mile to help me. The building is so clean, smells nice, and is very quiet. The amenities are great, and maintenance requests for any issue are solved in a timely manner. It's very professional. My apartment faces the commons, so it’s lit all year. The layout is very practical and well-structured, with an en-suite washing machine and dryer, plus a proper storage room. The restroom is spacious and has storage; generally, the storage is impressive in all the apartments. The kitchen is spacious, elegant, and well-equipped. There are windows to bring fresh breezes. My overall experience was easy, quiet, worth every penny, professional, and without stress or issues. I would definitely recommend...
Read moreAfter living in three different countries within three years, I can confidently say that Harold's Square has been the best building I have lived in. From the superintendent being so accessible and willing to help if you locked yourself out or needed absolutely anything day or night, to the awesome gym with a brand new Peloton bike, to the unbeatable views. Every day coming home to an amazing smelling lobby, that somehow always had the coolest music playing, was truly an oasis. The tenant get-together evening was a blast and being able to meet the other tenants was lovely. I would recommend living here to anyone that likes being on a walking street with lots of festivals and markets, friendly neighbours, attentive and supportive managers, and loves a beautiful, modern home! I wish I could pack up Harold's Square, the Commons and the staff and bring them with me to...
