A review by user Amy Savigny lambastes this store with a one star rating for being understaffed and "a dump". It was the first that appeared, so I thought I would share my perspective. Karen needs to spend more time reading about current events and less time on retail therapy. If she didn't have her eyes glued to her phone trying to figure out the lowest price and save three cents, or talking to her friend about how difficult First World life is when they are out of KY jelly for her massager, maybe she would realize that unemployment is the lowest it has been since at least 1970 when she was five. Workers are difficult to source, and when people like Karen start giving them attitude, it makes the environment that much less tolerable, and the quit. Who wants to have to be called up to the service desk so Karen can complain about an untucked red shirt? If you go into this border town store on a Saturday, the usual locals will be there as well as Canadians that haven't had a Target in their home country in ten years. You KNOW that if the wages increased to attract more workers, Karen would complain about prices increasing! Target is a great store anywhere with employees that have an uncanny ability to withstand horsedung droppong personalities of people with some money but no class. Too bad this Target isn't to her satisfaction. Go shop at Macy's,...
Read moreWas doing Instacart at Target earlier this afternoon and I went to self check out to cash out my orders. There’s 4 self check out registers and all 4 are occupied. As I wait my turn I notice the employee watching only has her eyes on the 3 black ladies cashing out together at the third register. Mind you, everyone else is white and no one else is being watched. It’s my turn and I start scanning my stuff, and the attendant walks up to me in very irritated tone and says “ you are only allowed 10 items and you must take everything out of your cart when scanning”. I said “Miss back up from me and my cart”. She says “Okay I’m just letting you know”. I say “IM JUST LETTING YOU KNOWWWWW”. She walks away. Couple seconds later another attendant walks up to me and says “please scan that last item again”. Then says “oh I’m sorry, I thought the barcode didn’t scan”. She quickly walked away. The store was a hot mess, it wasn’t stocked and there were huge red carts in the middle of aisles full of products. But y’all got 3 staff watching self checkout? I would absolutely never shop in there again....
Read moreIt is highly illegal to bring pets into target. But what’s absolutely insane is workers giving them treats and encouraging this illegal behavior. Your sign says no pets in carts. And it’s service animals only. While most people think it’s no big deal… did you know that dogs express anal glands. It’s this liquid that comes out of their buttholes that’s basically poop. I don’t know about yall but I don’t want that on my food or merchandise. All these other pictures are straight off the ada, the federal law that protects service animals and their handlers. If I had my service animal with me during this trip it would have been a lot worse for this target. If I had him with me and these dogs were barking at him it could have caused him to miss a medical alert which could mean having a medical episode for me. Target, do better. You would stop someone from stealing because it’s illegal so why aren’t you stopping other...
