I was lost trying to get home from the Pearson International Airport to Western NY, it was late and I hadn't had dinner. I couldn't find a diner or restaurant, and saw this Subway from the road and decided to stop. I don't usually eat fast food and haven't been to a Subway in years, so I was happy to find a fairly healthy option in the veggie delight sub on a 9-grain roll.
The lone young lady working the counter was friendly, despite my being indecisive due to the exhaustion of having had a long day traveling home from a trip to Central America. She politely explained that a customer had just ordered several meatball subs and used up all her meatballs-- and since it was near to closing time, she couldn't make more and then asked several questions to help me find something else I'd enjoy. She guided me to the items that were on special, and made suggestions for the dressing for the veggie sub I selected that were not what I'd have thought to order, but were very tasty!
I know I was taking up her time when she could have been using the time to prep to close the place, but she made me feel very welcome and was a wonderful representative for Subway-- I don't expect that level of quality service at fast food, and it...

There is no requirement to use a rewards card, phone number, or membership number - they just had to select the “gift card” option and scan the QR code. First associate had some trouble, so shorter associate tried to assist - to speed up the line. Neither wore name badges. Suddenly the shorter associate became hostile and belligerent towards me. He was in his late 30s or early 40s, but had a tantrum like a two-year-old. He also said I folded the print out, placing a crease in the QR code so it could not be scanned. The paper WAS folded, but I ensured the crease was not over the code, not even close. When I indicated that point and tried pointing to the section with directions for the transaction, the associate covered that section with his thumb and then snatched the paper from off the counter and held it away from me. His tone was very rude as he said that either I wanted the food or not. I grabbed MY paper from his hand and walked out visibly upset. I reported the incident and will not return to...
Read moreI placed our order online for a quick lunch. I ordered an Outlaw sub which is steak and cheese with Pepper Jack cheese six inch and it was extremely dry even with requested extra sauce. Honestly my sub was drier than the Sahara desert floor. I requested it on wheat bread which crumbled with every bit. It was enough crumbs to reconstruct a small loaf of bread. The sandwich artist skimmed on the steak, lettuce, and onions which I asked for extra. The sub is supposed to come with green peppers but mine did not. My daughter's cold cut sub on Italian bread crumbled as well. She wasn't pleased either with her sub. We also ordered the chocolate peppermint footlong cookie, they did not have it so they prepared the chocolate chip cookie instead. My cookie was baked darker than me and way darker than any photo I have seen. The cookie was warm but flavorless and chewy. I honestly want my $20.17 refunded because my meal was atrocious.
