I went to the ER because I was having breathing issues and had tested positive for COVID-19, like we had been told about for 2 years. "Go to the hospital if you are having breathing issues" The hospital's treatment was the worst medical treatment I've had in my entire life. After arriving and explaining my problems, they kicked my spouse out of the waiting room, and made me wait alone for over 6 hours before anybody finally saw me. When I was put in their parking lot tent that they were using for storing sick people like me, there were no tests done, not even a covid test to confirm my at home test. I had to ask for a paxlovid prescription. I was then swept away within 2 minutes of getting to the tent and told that's all they were going to do for me, and there was no mention of any sort of billing. Over a month later, I get a bill for $666 ($403 after insurance) for "Hospital Charges" and two weeks later I get another bill for $450 ($316 after insurance) for "Provider Charges"!!!!!! Strong Memorial Hospital was going to charge me over $1,100 after making me wait for over 6 hours with breathing problems, and I was given no treatment of any kind. This is absolutely criminal. The American healthcare system is a complete scam and a sick sick joke that is killing people every day. Strong Memorial Hospital and any other perpetuating this horrible cycle should be shut down and the workers should be ashamed of themselves. I will never be going to the hospital again if I am not on the verge of death. What a great system we have. Land of the free!!!! Free to go...

Strong lost my sisters belongings that passed away on 3-16-22 I called back numerous times supposedly being mailed fed ex never came cell phone and whatever my sister had packed. Called back 4-3-22 was rudely told call back Monday then hung up on. Must be nice to sit in a chair get a paycheck and tell people in need to call back Monday no work or skill involved whatsoever what a gig!!!! Janet the operator could actually be eliminated the touch tone that is available does the exact same thing. Do yourselves a favor and tell Janet it’s time to go and save some money. Update belongings found but I haven’t changed my mind about the wonderful personality of Janet. Worst customer relations ever thanks Janet you make the world a better place. It makes everything a whole lot better when we lose a family member. God help us all if we have to rely on institutions...

My comments are strictly on the emergency room. Bottom line: don't go there unless you are bleeding from the head, have a heart attack, or stroke. I went for breathing issues for pneumonia, and was in the emergency room for 24 hours. The bathrooms were disgusting - not cleaned, missing supplies. Food was scarce, supplies were running thin, and there were actually no pillows for patients to use to try to sleep. Staff in the Apocolypse Tent next to the ER ignored my call button for an hour before I finally flagged someone down. While I did get the treatment I needed, I did not feel safe as an immune compromised patient. Do not go here unless it's an absolute dire life threatening emergency. Call your primary care dr, leave messages with after hours/on call, or go to urgent care...
