Very prejudice against kids. This store was in the destiny usa mall, so huge mall. I have an autistic 9 year old daughter that is also waiting for her hearing aids due to being half deaf. My other kids are teens and know how to keep her calm and in place because she has a flight response. They go to a corner of the store and play cards with her. They make sure the store isnt busy, go to a spot where theres no merchandise and out of the way. And it gives me time to shop for myself for once. The ladies there told the kids they arent allowed to sit in the store. They told them they were waiting for us and that we are shopping in here. They told them they are a liability and to go wait outside in the hall. As soon as they put the cards away my autistic daughter ran, along with the fact she couldn't hear us calling to her. What will be a liabilty is if my kid gets kidnapped because of them, I would sue. No one was complaining about them. In fact people would smile at them. Read moreIf I could put 0/5 stars I would. My family and I love what this store has to offer, however after today, I don't think we'll be going there again. Today my daughters (23, 17, and 15) went shopping here but came home very disappointed with their experience. Three employees, two of which we've seen before, were following my girls around the store as if they were planning on stealing merchandise. We've shopped here many times before, and this is the first time that they did not feel welcome. As people of color, we try ignoring the ignorance of others, but when employees like this make it SO obvious that they are treating us differently based on how we look, its hard to ignore.. These three women ruined my daughters' afternoon at the mall. As someone who has worked in retail, I'm extremely disappointed, myself.
