StreetGame — Local services in City of Syracuse

I was there on Sunday 09/29/19. I was making a purchase for a sale jacket and when I got to the register I attempted to pay with my debit card. The card didn't work the first time so the clerk said '' it doesn't work''. I responded with ''it usually takes a few times since it's a Canadian card.'' He didn't want to try it again when I asked. ''It works everywhere else.'' He responded '' We don't have machines like everywhere else.'' So, your store is different than every other store??! I told him ''fine, I'll go to the atm nearby and I'll probably come back.'' I went to the atm which was closer than expected and I paid the fee.. took out cash and came back to pay for the jacket. I wasn't gone for 5 minutes and the jacket was already back on the floor! Like, you couldn't hold it for 5-10 minutes at least?!...

Tackiest store I've ever been to. Went in to look for snow boots for my 6 yr old being we just moved here from Orlando and it snowed practically every day, it was top priority. Salesman to assist amongst others were just lounging around uneager to help. I informed the salesman what I was looking for and the size. He came back out and didnt inform me of anything, didnt even approach me but just fell back into the mix of nothingness with his fellow employees. I hadn't noticed until I got up to look at another shoe and seen him just standing around. I asked "did you have the shoe?" He looked stupid and the face and said "oh, I said naw we dont have it". I would not want to give my money to this store. Another time I walked in one of the employees were eating wings on the sales floor. Place just smelling...

This store has a great selection on shoes, however, the employees absolutely SUCK. They have by far the WORST customer service skills i have ever seen in my life. And this has been for years now. The employees act like your a bother when you ask for help. They barely speak to you or respond when asking a question . You are never greeted. They sit around on their phones with their hoods up looking like they come to work to hang out or something ! Who hires these people! It would be great to walk in a store and receive some help! Especially a shoe store with so much inventory . I would suggest to management that they better train their employees or hire...
