I just had the worst experience in the Destiny USA Syracuse store!! I have been an avid WHBM shopper for many years, both the retail stores and the outlets. Usually when entering a store, a store employee greets me. At this store I got nothing. The store had one other customer who left soon after so they were not busy. I was walking around with clothes to try on and I timed how long it took for one of the two store employees to ask me if I wanted a dressing room started. It took 20 minutes!! I refused the assistance because at that point what did it matter. I went into the fitting room to try on the clothes and no one asked if everything fit ok or if I needed any additional help. The check out person did not ask me if I found everything I was looking for. Another customer entered the store and was greeted and was told about the sale items and was assisted in the fitting room. I don't know these 2 ladies but their behavior smacks of racism. I am a nurse visiting Syracuse to participate in the fair. I am a fairly good judge of character and I am mature enough to know when I am being ignored. I did not go to the store to be greeted but to shop. I did not expect them to fawn over me but a level of professionalism is expected. I will NOT shop at the Syracuse...
Read moreI went in to do some shopping, expressed concern to the sales person that I was a little overweight and wanted assistance covering up, and the sales person immediately lost interest by talking with another customer who just happened to walk by. Embarrassing and rude. Sales person seemed haughty and I will never go in that store again. When I went next door to JJill, I expressed the same concern to the sales person who greeted me as I walked in (it turned out to be the Manager, Loretta). She immediately proceeded to help me, and enlisted the help of Audra, who personally helped me pick out clothes and offered suggestions. It certainly felt like Pretty Woman, and I really wanted to show White House Black Market what I purchased at JJill. Things turned out well, at J*Jill, would never recommend White House Black Market to anyone wanting an enjoyable...
