Chocolate House Yonkers — Restaurant in City of Yonkers

BEWARE!! NEVER ORDER THE TRES LECHE! I just left and ordered the Oreo Tres Leche and the Dubai Sundae to go. I should have known it would be bad after receiving my order less than one minute after ordering it.

The Oreo Tres Leche was FROZEN with chunks of ice and frozen chunks of milk. It was filled with mini icicles and tasted like water because of it. It was not a cake at all, but a frozen ice block. I called the store to lay my concerns and the person who answered stated " The cake comes frozen." And that he eats it straight out of the freezer all the time. He never addressed my concerns or offered an apology, despite me insisting Tres leche cake and the milk that it comes with is not supposed to be frozen, and it should certainly NOT have ice cubes in it. he then told me to let it thaw for a few hours before eating. Whattt??? If i wanted frozen cake, i would have just bought one from the freezer aisle of a grocery store. DON'T RECOMMEND, DONT BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME.

Dubai Sundae- was a flat peice of "brownie" that was about .5inch think and in a square foil pan. Other then the shock of how thin the chocolate mat was, it didn't taste bad, and it seemed warm. Just more pistachio crumbs than brownie.

The frozen cake, and complete lack of accountability and customer service is why I'll never be returning here. And I know they won't care because they sure didn't care over the phone.

I recommend going to Crepe House as the goods and the service are much better! Will post a picture of the ice cube of milk in...

I recently visited Chocolate House Yonkers and was absolutely delighted! From the moment I walked in, the cozy, inviting atmosphere and the rich aroma of chocolate made it clear this was a special spot.

Perfect for a chilly day! ✨ Service: The staff was warm and attentive, happy to explain menu items and even offer samples of their handmade truffles.

Minor Note: The space is small, so it can get crowded during peak hours, but it’s worth the wait.

Whether you’re a chocolate addict or just looking for a charming treat, Chocolate House Yonkers is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back to try their seasonal...

If you're a dessert lover, Chocolate House is an absolute must-visit! I had the strawberry and Nutella crepe, and it was pure perfection. The crepe was soft and fresh, generously filled with sweet strawberries and rich Nutella, all beautifully drizzled with white and dark chocolate and a sprinkle of powdered sugar. Every bite melted in my mouth!

And don’t get me started on the strawberry smoothie—it was the perfect refreshing match to the rich dessert. Fresh, creamy, and full of flavor.
