I went into Woods with the idea of researching various pieces of furniture so I could make a decision in a couple of weeks for a purchase. I acknowledge that I looked at the cheaper options and even one at a clearance price. The sales person, an older man with gray hair, not only avoided me, he stayed in the back of the store with a frown. When I went up to him and asked a question about the clearance item, a dog in the back room started barking loudly. I apologized and told him that I have a hearing problem and asked him a couple of times to repeat what he was saying, he became mad at me even though I repeatedly explained my situation. While I walked around the store looking at things and even trying them out he continually gave me dirty looks. I ended up going to another store, upgrading my selections and spent $3,500, and even got free delivery and set up which he was going to charge me for. Never received a call back. -Arrived first week of November -Delivery associates damaged both the base and top -They re-ordered it and said it was on a priority list -Took another month. Found out it sat in their warehouse for a week (not a priority). -Only sent the replacement top. Delivery associate called the store and said store manager would call me. He didn’t. -I called him 2 days later and he said he’d check on it and call me back. He didn’t. -I drove to the store and canceled the order 3 hours later. -I was ok dealing w/ delayed shipping due to COVID, but Woods dropped the ball at every turn, creating the need to re-order a second and third time. Read moreOutstanding customer service! We purchased a stacked, one unit washer and dryer for our cabin. It's larger than the one we were replacing, but we knew it would fit into the closet-type space. Unfortunately after removing the door from the doorway into the room, that only allowed for a 1/2" leeway to fit the unit through. Our installers Rob and Thomas were amazing! They were patient and confident working diligently to get our unit installed. "NO, is not an option" they told us. I just can't say enough about the effort and professionalism these two men had. It's a pleasure to do purchase from small local businesses. I don't believe we would've received the same service from a Big Box store!
