Really debated on whether to post about our experience from a few weeks ago or not, but I feel it's necessary even though I do feel bad since this is a small family business. But there are definitely some things that need improvement. The food was meh at best. The chicken gyro was pretty bland and sadly so was the tzatziki sauce 😕. My husband's steak cheesesteak was also pretty meh and made with weird meat. When he asked for mayo, he was given a few packets of Chick-fil-A mayo. When we asked for ketchup for the fries, the bottle we were given had an expiration date from July of 2024. And I get that the family running this restaurant has small children. I didn't mind one bit that when we went, the kids were watching Moana 2 on the tv. But having a table in the corner piled with an open box of cereal, kids toys, craft supplies and other random items... not to mention the bottles of medicine and/or vitamins that they openly have sitting on a shelf right behind the counter... this is a business, not the living room of one's house. Plus, we were the only ones there when we first arrived and most of the tables were dirty. We tried this place based on the reviews and pictures that were obviously taken early on when they opened, but I'm not sure how they have the star rating they do with everything we saw...
Read moreDo not go here looking for good Greek food; you will not find it. I walked in while they’re remodeling and cleaning. A lady was cleaning the windows with a squeegee and when I walked in water dripped on my head and down the back of my shirt from above the door. There were food crumbs on every table and all over the floor but I was greeted warmly by the guys behind the counter so I tried it because I was really craving a gyro (which they didn’t pronounce correctly) and good tzatziki (which they called white sauce). Chicken gyro, fries, and a side of potato salad that fit in a togo salad dressing cup, and a canned soda for $10. Nothing had any flavor except for the drink and the french fries. There was no salt in anything. The chicken was bland and the tzatziki sauce just tasted like plain yogurt. While I was there I discovered that none of them are even Greek which explained a lot. They have a sanitation grade of 97 but I could see dust hanging from signs over the food and I witnessed some glove usage but it doesn’t do much good if you use your gloved hands to pick up your cell phone to answer a call so I’m not sure when or how that was possible. However, I hear their cheesesteaks are good, I just won’t...
