I was in this store yesterday, which was February 10th, 2025 at 11:00 AM eastern time. I was assaulted by the worst cashier in the world. When I say 'assaulted', I mean that I had come in to have the store alert devices removed from the shoes I bought the day before. She was watching me in line take out my receipt, which also had a 20% coupon that I did not plan to use but was just in my hand with this receipt to show that I bought the shoes and just wanted to remove the alert devices. Here's where it gets cringy: when it was my turn, before I could even say why I was there, she was quick to tell me that I could not use the 20% discount on my purchase because those shoes were not covered by that coupon. When I tried to explain to her that I was there to have the alert devices removed, she immediately asked me if I wanted a refund, which was not at all why I was there. However, now I thought about it because she was so quick to assume I would return the shoes since I couldn't use the 20% discount. When I showed her the alert devices still on the shoes, she informed me that if I did self-checkout, I should have removed them then, as that's what most people do. When I informed her that I never opened the box, and just paid and left, no alarms went off, and no beeps on the register told me to remove them. I was not sure why it mattered that I was there now, but she felt it very important to inform me I had made a mistake. This is not the first time in the store that I've seen and been treated with such disdain, almost as if I wasn't welcome. Well, this time you have succeeded; I will never return to the store ever again or any Kohl's outlets. From the looks of the number of people that were not in that store, that is not...
Read moreAlways excellent service, great prices. The only downfall is too many people in large groups without masks and today there was a older adult coughing so much they sounded like they had bronchitis and no mask and they were sweating so much and even the register person was alarmed as this customer. This is one of the reasons I am giving this place 3 stars because if the employees are wearing masks and the customers are not and the customers are not obeying the 6 feet distance on the floors and throughout the store signs and the outside post they have why are certain people getting away with this? That particular customer whether they had bronchitis, the flu, or I hope they did not have Covid-19, that should not have happened because this ignorant person was not only exposing all of us but the employee that is working there and if this older lady gets sick, how is she able to provide for herself or her own needs if she gets sick or any if us they were there today. I just do not understand with people just staying home when they are sick and this person was buying a plush toy so, "No" this was not a necessary and this person was selfish and ignorant to say the least....
Read moreI’m going to be honest. I’m not a fan of Kohl’s. My visits have always been the same. The stores are disorganized, stock is sparse, and prices are high. I came in today looking for some dress shirts for work, and while I didn’t find any I liked, I did find some T shirts I liked. The sign above the display stated $19.99 each, originally $24.99 each. I picked out 3 and headed to checkout. Janice was the cashier I had and she was very friendly. She signed me up for the rewards program, and did a great job explaining how it worked. When the shirts rang up at $25 a piece, I informed her the sign showed $20 a piece. She called a manager and the manager verified, stating the sign was incorrect. Vicki was the manager and she agreed to honor the $20 advertised price and was very nice about the situation. I went back to Janice and completed my checkout. Honestly, while I wasn’t a fan of kohls prior to entering the store today, this experience really turned that around for me. Great customer service is something that’s hard to find today, and when you do find it, it deserved to be rewarded. Great job to Janice and Vicki. See you all...
