I recently had the pleasure of dining at Amore Restaurant in Clermont, and let me just say, it was an absolute delight. In fact, I dare say it's the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. From start to finish, Amore Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. One of the standout features of this gem of a restaurant is their commitment to using fresh, scratch-made ingredients. It's evident that they take immense pride in their culinary creations, as each dish they serve is a testament to their dedication and passion. From the moment I took my first bite, I could taste the difference. The flavors were vibrant, the textures were perfect, and the presentation was simply stunning. The menu at Amore Restaurant is a work of art, offering a variety of mouthwatering options that cater to all palates. Whether you're a fan of seafood, meat, or vegetarian dishes, they have something that will tickle your taste buds. The attention to detail in each dish is remarkable, showcasing the chef's skill and creativity. I particularly enjoyed their bruschetta, which left me craving for more even after the meal was over. The ambiance of Amore Restaurant is warm, inviting, and perfect for any occasion. Whether you're planning a romantic dinner for two or a gathering with friends and family, this restaurant provides a cozy and intimate setting that enhances the overall dining experience. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring that every need is met. In addition to the incredible food and welcoming atmosphere, Amore Restaurant also boasts an impressive wine list, featuring a wide selection of varietals to perfectly complement your meal. Their sommelier is well-versed in the art of wine pairing and can guide you towards the ideal selection to enhance your dining experience. Overall, my experience at Amore Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. Read moreDear Amore Restaurant Management, I wanted to bring to your attention the unfortunate experience I had at your establishment on May 14, 2025. I had previously enjoyed dining at your restaurant, which is why I chose to host a Mother's Day celebration and farewell dinner for a coworker there. However, I was extremely disappointed with the service and quality of food we received. I ordered a bruschetta pizza but received a Margherita pizza instead. Additionally, the pasta dishes my coworkers ordered had too much sauce and the flavor was too strong. Furthermore, when we requested a plate to serve a cake we had brought, we were informed of a fee for bringing in outside food, which I found to be unreasonable. For the waiter to mention no other restaurant will not allow as well. Which is not true. We had gone to other restaurants and bring on our own cake. The attitude and customer service provided by one of your staff member, was also less than satisfactory. Her lack of empathy and unwillingness to accommodate our simple service was also less than satisfactory. Then again, I don't blame her not her fault. It is the Manager's fault. To accommodate our simple request left a sour taste in my mouth. In comparison, Carrabba's provides a fantastic atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious food. I will be taking my business there in the future and will not be recommending Amore Restaurant to others. To top it all out to finish the cake with the cherry on top when we ask on our way out for a simple plastic knife, the Manager got up and gave us 3 forks just to make sure that we will not be able to eat The cake inside the restaurant. We are a paying Customer and to have the meal that we ordered Wrong and not be able to cut a little piece of cake and just to taste the cake they had wanted to charge $20 just to use our knife and Cut our cake just for a little taste I think that's a little bit ridiculous. You would not have my Business again, and I will make sure that any other customers would not be able to go to your facility. The treatment that we got fortunately is not the one we were expecting. And last but not least One of my coworkers and I got sick. Is to bad because we ate there for my birthday last year and we...
Read moreTitle: The “Homemade Sauce” Does Not Work
I have visited this restaurant more than once, and while many dishes are truly enjoyable, I must be honest about the so-called “homemade sauce.”
The first time I tried it was with the eggplant lasagna. The sauce tasted bitter and unbalanced, but I thought perhaps it was just my palate that day, so I did not complain and even took the rest home. Wanting to be fair, I gave it another chance.
This time, I ordered the special with homemade lasagna, stuffed shells and manicotti (over $20). The sauce was bitter, acidic, and unpleasant, and the cheese had a sour taste that made the dish inedible. I returned the plate, but I still paid for it, which made the experience even more disappointing.
To be clear, other dishes here without this sauce are excellent — the kitchen can prepare wonderful food. The sangria is amazing, and the bartender is spectacular, attentive, and efficient.
However, this “famous homemade sauce,” offered as the base for some signature dishes, simply does not work. I gave it more than one chance, and the result was the same. For the price and for something advertised as “homemade,” this was very disappointing. I would not recommend any dish that includes this sauce until it is completely revised.
UPDATING: Thank you very much for your kind reply and for taking the time to address my feedback. I truly appreciate the way you responded and also the kindness of the staff that day, although I do not recall the name of the server who helped me. However, I must be honest — I have tried your “homemade sauce” on two different occasions, and unfortunately, for me, it does not taste like a true homemade sauce. I fully respect that it may be a family recipe and perhaps it comes from a different region of Italy that I have not experienced, but based on the places I visited in Italy, the flavor and style were extremely different from what I was served. I am grateful for the invitation to come back, but I will not be returning for a third try. I do wish you continued success and thank you again for your...
