Was excited to try a new bagel spot in town and went for lunch with a small group. You can also order from a touchscreen as soon as you enter if the front cash is busy. Staff is welcoming and friendly to answer any menu questions. There's a moderate amount of seating inside and outside, and the bathrooms were clean. Temperature wise, the AC was blasting too strong, so that in combination with metal chairs made it feel uncomfortably cold (and I'm from Canada lol).
FOOD. We tried a few bagel/sandwiches and found them all alright, the Reuben/sandwiches seemed more worth it. I got a lox on the black Russian bagel, and was excited to see you can select an open bagel when ordering.. to my dismay my bagel was stiff :(. Likely not something ordered frequently/stale, but overall didn't find it much better than a regular grocery bagel flavour wise (baked in store) and definitely no where near NY city bagel quality. They also went toooo heavy on the cream cheese and it didn't come with capers (so not much going for the lox).
DRINKS. The coffee on the other hand was decent and counts as a drink for combo orders. I also like that they make iced coffees using coffee-ice cubes.
Overall mid bagels, if I returned I'd try a sandwich and iced coffee. Worth a try to see for yourself, considering there aren't many quick bagel spots...
Read moreWas here recently, and honestly, it was not very good. The service was very bad. We walked in and there was little to no staff. We waited for a few minutes before I had to get the attention of some lady “sweeping the floor”. She wasn’t doing it very well and there were crumbs on the floor still :/
The food took suspiciously long. And it was sadly not worth the wait at all. The sandwiches were haphazardly made. I only had ketchup on one side on my bacon, egg and cheese. The whole sandwich didn’t have any flavor, besides the ketchup. The eggs were very fake looking and tasting. They probably started off as some sort of powered that was genetically engineered to resemble eggs. The bacon was not crispy, and the bagel had no real chew.
I also got a cookie that tasted like it was bought at the local BJ’s. Very dry and tasted like chemicals. The worker said they were fresh. She lied. She also couldn’t hold a broom :(.
The restaurant was cleanish but kinda boring inside. At least it didn’t smell. I was expecting it to after stepping inside.
Overall, i wouldn’t recommend. I got a sandwich, a cookie, and a really great strawberry lemonade (the only thing that wasn’t made in house, by the way), and it was $15. :( I went with friends and they also didn’t like the food at all… I wouldn’t...
Read moreVisited the location on a Saturday morning (9am). Had about 12-18 customers waiting for orders. Staff were friendly and inviting. They just opened the location and naturally working out the kinks that are normal with opening a new location with new employees. I ordered half a dozen bagels($9.00), cream cheese, 6 bagel bites($4.00), and black/white cookies. Everything tasted great and fresh. Since I have visited other locations, this one is has a different lay out than any other ones that I have visited. The coffee area is not self serve and is not assessable to the customer. They have a person that will fill the coffee order. I am not a big fan of that, but it does provide a full service environment. I am hoping that they will have a sign showing the location to order food. It was a little confusing to people coming in due to the multiple customers waiting for their food orders. The new customers would wait thinking it was a line forming. They did have a greeter directing people when the greeter was available due to the greeter helping fill the orders. Overall, 5 stars in every category. I will be visiting them regularly and supporting the business. Give them a try, you will taste a great delicious bagel and some...
