Great free place to hold family events . have a gazebo and its covered. You can bring friends and family here and have fun..has a fountain in the center of it and a miniture "gilligans island" in the center. Park benches, nice playground for the kids. and they redid all the sidewalks surrounding it. Its near the art and natural history museum. I see people come there to fish sometimes. There is a creek behind it. I think the water in the creek is contaminated. The creek area also has a gazillion mosquito's . pond. Is great area to skate or skateboard. I would recommend it. These are my favotire places when visiting a big city. It's like being in nature and away from the hustle and bustle of the town. But you're still in the middle of town. It's refreshing. It was quiet and I was alone. The views are spectacular and the scenary was delgithful. If I lived here I would walk here daily and be at peace with my thoughts.
