They're trying to make improvements...which is great to see.
I own 19 machines produced by Wittern. I've been a customer for about 5 years now. They struggle in certain areas, but are at least making a solid effort to improve.
For example....
Multiple new delivered machines had immediate mechanical problems. Some very, very minor (e.g. the dex cable not plugged in) to severe (machine DOA with bad refrigeration unit, etc.).
The good news is once you get them "up and running" they tend to be reliable workhorses. And they should for the price.
They parts and service division of Wittern, "Vendnet," does the best they can with limited help. Expect long hold times if you call.
The newest debacle for Wittern is "EMV" complaint devices. I put an order in over a month ago for my devices. The parts department was kind enough to put a "Rush" on my order. Thanks to Karen!
The selling arm of Wittern, Selectivend, is has its struggles as well. They canceled (without telling me) over $12,000 worth of machines. It made me look terrible.
Dents and dings were reported to them on new machines. I never heard anything from them.
Overall, they've certainly had their struggles. But I'd point out that they are making efforts to move in the right direction. I give them credit for that. I hope...

One can only be scammed and lied to so many times before it is no longer a coincidence, it has to be their plan. They are profoundly disorganized, or they don't care or both. They don't honor their warranty, they do everything they can to scam you out of it. The arrogance and ineptitude of the call center, namely Ted, is unbearable. Ted is great at everything, just ask him. The only problem is that NOTHING he says happens like he claims it will or should. You talk to the parts department and you get five different stories from five different people, and none of them are true. Lisa lies and refuses to refund payments for parts core returns, even with pictures of the items in the boxes and tracking numbers showing Wittern received the core! You have to file credit card disputes to get your money back. Between them and Vendnet USA, it is a three ring circus. I HATE to have to call them...
   Read moreI've come back to edit this review a year on from the review I initially left. It's not much better than it was. They have hired some more people and the responsiveness on the Greenlite side of the business has gotten better. However, the overall experience with their Support team when it comes to troubleshooting and resolving issues with machines has not. They are understaffed and getting answers takes way too long. We purchased two refurbished machines that were sent out with faulty parts that caused no end of issues when we took delivery of them, and it took MONTHS to get the issues resolved. Even now, they aren't all resolved because it seems apparent, they don't have any sort of quality control and we cannot get credited back for fees we should never have been charged for in the first place.
