BEWARE NO RESPECT FOR WOMEN I had a terrible experience at this AT&T store while trying to upgrade my boyfriend’s phone. Initially, we were assisted by an associate named Edwin. We were looking for an affordable iPhone upgrade and decided on the iPhone 15, but needed extra storage. Since that model wasn’t in stock, Edwin assured us—five separate times—that he could order it and we could pick it up in-store on Tuesday.
However, after my boyfriend stepped out of the store, Edwin’s demeanor completely changed towards me and his mom. He became rude, dismissive, and condescending, suddenly telling us that the phone would actually be shipped to an address 3.5 hours away, contradicting everything he had previously said. When his mom pointed out that he had confirmed multiple times that we could pick it up in-store, he talked over her, gaslighted her, and refused to acknowledge his mistake.
When I stepped in to back her up, he told me to “stop talking”—which was incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional. We both asked to speak to his supervisor, but he initially refused to escalate the issue. When the supervisor finally stepped in, Edwin tried to spin the situation to make it seem like it was our misunderstanding, rather than his mistake.
It became painfully clear that he had no respect for women. His entire attitude and behavior shifted when my boyfriend returned, and the manager took over. Thankfully, the manager, Christian, was professional and ultimately helped resolve the situation, even providing a gift certificate.
That said, Edwin’s treatment of us was unacceptable, and no customer—especially women—should have to experience that kind of blatant disrespect. AT&T needs to address this kind of behavior, as it reflects poorly on the company...
Read moreHorrible customer service because they cannot do anything but up-sell the items. The salesman promised to lower our bill and we left with the internet air service. 2 months later the service was cancelled due to non payment even though my bill was on auto pay and the balance showed zero. They referred me to the customer service line which after 4 people and several hours on the phone they referred me back to the store. Day 2; Internet still not working. went to the store and they figured out my account was attached to a dummy account, but still separate from my at&t bill causing it not to show up in on the regular bill. I can't even access this account until I pay the bill but they'll be happy to take my credit ard on the phone or in the store. It is set up on auto pay but for some reason that no one can explain the payment was not deducted. Two days and 9 hours on the phone later say that I can reactivate my account if I pay the bill that was on auto pay but separate from the main account. I finally spoke to a manager who seemed to make sense, but he could not do anything to clear the charge. I finally canceled the internet air service and returned the modem to the store. They whole experience cost me two days of not working due to the lack of internet. If you are looking for any service that at&t provides please look elsewhere. I have begun to look for other services due to this. I have been with at&t from the beginning when they bought Cellular One. Please, if anyone reading this has to decide on services from at&t look elsewhere. I will be trying to talk to the Manager of this store and try to get someone on the phone that helped me to get this resolved, but am not very confident that anything...
Read moreWent to go upgrade a phone line and everything went smoothly. Checked my bill and saw that a new line was added to my plan (I remember saying that I only wanted to upgrade the phone line). Now that it has been more than 30 days I am stuck with a new line that no one is using. Went to the store to talk to the store manager and he wasn’t there so I left my number. The manager called me the next day and asked me what happened. He told me since he wasn’t the store manager at that time, there will be a lot of he said she said commentary so he did not take my statement of what happened into consideration. The store manager brushed off my concerns and made it seem like it’s no big issue. He said that he is going to check to see what happened with the transaction and take the right disciplinary measures. I am not wanting the manger to fix the transaction because he can’t it’s been past the 30 days. I wanted to let him know what his representatives are doing to get commission and cheating off customers. It’s sad to see that this has happened since my family has been with AT&t for over 20 years now and with this incident it will make me evaluate if AT&T will be the right phone...
