Starbucks — Restaurant in Clovis

3/29/24 - Fairly good Starbucks location!

Situated within walking distance of shopping, nice outdoor seating, if a little unsheltered from the sun at times, and the staff are exceptional. Inside is pleasantly lit, but there is no soft seating. The window seats are very nice, and there's some nice secluded corner spots with shaded window light to the left of the entrance.

Like I said, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The music, on my visit, was at a reasonable volume, easily drowned out by my quiet, over-ear headphones.

This location, as of today, does have working outlets. There is no soft seating, unfortunately, but there is lots of ADA accessible seating available, with a long table at wheelchair height in an open and central situation. As for the internet, I got a measly 10 megabits per second up and down: maybe some light video calls if you're lucky, but don't push it.

With poor WiFi and no soft-seating (which is a big deal after a while of sitting down) I'll give this place a 7/10. Still very serviceable with it's central location...

I stopped this morning at 9:20 since I live around the corner. The line was slow but I was really in need of coffee. The line was even slower after getting into the actual drive way. Then once in the driveway, with no way out it came to a halt for a half hour while myself and others were trapped. Finally I was the next car and the car in front of me sat at the ordering board for 15 minutes. Finally she took off I pulled up to the board which it is now 10:05. There was a sign tapped to the board which was turned off and it read “ We will be closing at 12:30 sorry for the inconvenience “. I pulled straight through my craving was now gone. I stopped to look in the pick up window and no one was in the store. I asked a guy leaving the front if they were closed and he said yes.. WHY DIDNT THEY POST CLOSED AT THE DRIVE THRU??? That is so unprofessional. I do feel sorry for any emergency, but they did not think about their customers at all. I will not be back, nor will the 20 or so cats...

The manager, a sweet brunette lady, is always so sweet when I come in to hang out. She always says hello, and acts like she loves having me come by. I always feel welcome inside. The order taker was super friendly and very helpful. I very much appreciated that he didn't mock me or even care that I didn't know the cup sizes, and he was even sweet enough to teach me the names and how they're pronounced, and he was also very helpful in helping me figure out which drink I'd like and what it was called. He informed me much about their different types of drinks, which was so above and beyond! I wish I could remember his name so I could give him credit but I will always come back to this Starbucks if there's a chance he would...
