đ Authentic Cantonese Dim Sum & Wok-Fired Favorites
If youâre hunting for the most authentic dim sum in Fresno, Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant is the spot. Whether youâre craving American Chinese staples or traditional Cantonese fare, this place deliversâespecially with dim sum, which is essentially the Chinese version of brunch, served through a variety of small steamer dishes meant to be shared. The best part? They offer dim sum during dinnerâa rare and appreciated bonus.
1st picture: đ Yangzhou Stir-Fried Rice & đŚ Fried Calamari Both dishes were full of flavor and perfectly fried. The rice had great seasoning and textureânot greasy, and each grain separate.
2nd picture: 𼊠Black Bean Spare Ribs, đ§ Beef Meatballs, and đ Black Bean Chicken Feet Every bite was packed with traditional Cantonese flavors. The meatballs were soft and juicy, and the chicken feet were flavorful and tender, exactly as they should be.
3rd picture: đŚ Roast Duck Crispy skin, tender meat, and just the right amount of fat. Excellent execution.
4th picture: đ¤ Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll (Cheung Fun) Silky rice rolls with fresh shrimp insideâclassic and done well.
5th picture: đSteamed Buns â Egg Custard & Golden Cream Soft, fluffy, and filled with creamy, lightly sweet fillings. Great contrast of warm bun and smooth interior.
6th picture: đŽ Mango Pudding A refreshing way to end the mealâsweet, fruity, and light.
đˇ Missing Photo: But Iâve gotta shout out my favorite dishâthe Beef Chow Fun. Trust me when I say, itâs the best in town. That smoky, charred flavor from the wok (wok hei) is everything. Youâll regret not ordering it.

Read moreCame here with the in-laws for Christmas dinner and we were definitely laughing at them rather than with them. The waitress made the process of ordering as confusing as possible by addressing questions no one was asking, including checking to make sure I knew what chow fun was (somewhat insulting, honestly) and asking whether I wanted the one with "gravy". I had no idea why chow fun would include gravy, but I just said yes, which turned out to be the wrong choice; what I received was completely flavourless chow fun cooked separately from the sauce, which was then poured over the top. My wife's cousin was raving about their "breaded" chicken teriyaki, which we were very curious about. It turned out to be chicken katsu with some teriyaki sauce poured on - tasted great, but would be really frustrating if you were craving actual chicken teriyaki. Our 4:30 reservation felt pretty worthless with the pace of the service. It was Christmas day and there were eight of us, but I can't write off the fact that we waited so long for the food that the entire family began to enter that state of "low blood sugar" quiet, nor that they brought out the food one plate at a time over the course of an hour (we did not order family style). The first dish came out at about 5:20 and the last dish hit the table (after some reminding) at 6:35, meaning that a couple people didn't get to start eating until a full two hours after we were seated. As for the restaurant itself, can't say I've ever eaten Chinese in a log cabin before, let alone with feaux crystal light fixtures set into he walls. Some of the decor was literally put up with Scotch tape. Small trash all over the floor. The restroom desperately needed servicing and reeked of that special wet grit and mildew scent typically reserved for park restrooms with an unhelpful vanilla candle burning on the counter. Two stars because the food was...
Read moreFriday, 5/12/2023 - Took my beautiful mama out to eat at "Four Season Chinese Restaurant" for an early Mother's Day celebration. Address is 342 N Clovis Ave, Clovis, CA 93612. My 1st time there. She's been there before. This restaurant, on a Friday, did not walk around with carts of hot foods and you can pick from it. You ordered off the menu. But I did gear they do that on the weekends. Upon arrival:

Conclusion: I had a good experience at this restaurant. We had no issues. Our servers were all very nice. Hostess was very nice. Our foods were made fresh, I'm sure of it. Cus when we got each dish, they were hot and some steamy. The little, soft, white buns for the duck was good. I could just eat those buns on its own. đ Server provided us to-go boxes for left overs. They didn't rush...
