I recently bought a used PS3 console from a seller on eBay, unfortunately the console was not in great shape nor did it function perfectly like the seller had described. It was overheating, there was lots of random slowdown and stuttering of gameplay as well as cutscenes, it would shut down while in the process of saving or going to the home menu; basically there were a lot of problems. Turns out the seller knew the console was a lemon because when I asked for a refund they refunded me immediately and told me to keep the console, so now I had to figure out a way to get this PS3 fixed. Luckily for me I found Clovis X Game System, PC & Laptop Repair. I called Dan and explained the situation to him and he told me to come by that same day and he'd be happy to help. He was able to diagnose the problem and fix the console in a very short amount of time and charged me probably ten percent of what he could have. All of the problems with my PS3 have been resolved and I have Dan to thank for that. He is extremely overqualified to be doing work as simple and mundane as repairing game consoles but I'm very glad that I was able to receive his help. I found Clovis Xbox 360 repair looking for someone to repair my kids PS4 that had a damaged HDMI Port. I had watched several YouTube videos and didn't feel confident I could complete all of the micro soldering to pull off such a task. I called and got voicemail and did what the instructions said, "Hang up and I'll call you back". Within a few minutes I was contacted by Daniel. We discussed the issue with the HDMI port and he gave me a quote on the spot. While his price was certainly higher than some of the other places you find online I was able to drop it off the next day and didn't have to deal with shipping or dis assembling anything. At drop off I was told it would be ready in three business days. At that point I asked if he would be willing to install a new disc drive that I had purchased prior to the port failure. I bought a ps5 online and after 10 minutes of playing on it, it shut off and wouldn’t turn back on. I was unsure if Sony would honor a warranty on it as I didn’t have all the proper documentation they would want it I called and talked with several stores and every place within a 150 miles of my house said the same thing it would most likely take a month and be 250-300$ Expect Clovis x game systems. He told me that before I shipped the system to Sony to get the manufacture date from the ps5. When Sony got my system they said it was out of warranty because they couldn’t validate when I purchased the system but because I had the manufacture date they are currently fixing it for free. Despite that helping me this way lost him a good profit being a brand new system he still did right before Christmas. I can’t recommend this place enough as they are knowledgeable and have really good credentials, but aside from that they care about people and take serving the community very seriously. If I ever have problems in the future I will definitely come back as they are worth the 2 hour drive from my house as they have my best...
