I left my puppy who is 11 months old and paid for three nights which included in the cost of a hour of individual play time along with pictures of him at least once a day both of which were never done. The staff stated my pup did not want to play and that he would growl if there staff got close to him when they did try to play with him and can understand why they would be hesitant to play with him but hard to understand when he is left at the groomers he is okay, but I guess every situation is different. Not once was I sent a photo of my dog and when I called to ask if he was okay I felt as though I was a bother and a inconvenience to the staff. When we went to pick up our dog we were asked if we could retrieve our dog due to the staff being able to get him out his area which left me unsettled and wondering if they even attempted to interact with my dog. I was told that his blanket was being washed and that we would be texted when it was available for pickup which four days later have yet to be notified that the blanket is ready. Only reason I gave them 2 stars is that they waived one night fee but sadly had it not been for that I would have rated them one star. I understand that perhaps they felt threatened by my small dog if he was being aggressive but if that was the case I would have had my employees at least inform the customer of the situation but they didn't even have the courtesy to do that. I took my dog to get groomed and they shaved him completely knowing that I didn’t want that. It was his 3rd time going and they never done this before until this last time. I was so upset , not taking my pup there ever again. My puppy was shivering knowing it was winter time and they shaved him , he is a shitzu and I was aware that his legs needed to be shorter than usual because he had some knots and I was okay with that , but no where else was he knotted because I brush his face and back every day and I always struggled with his feet and they just shaved him completely all around. And to find out that it was my favorite groomer that did this. I was back stabbed and my poor baby has no hair. Plus they cut his private part by accident with a balde and now he has a rash 😫😫 bad bad experience , I don’t know what I did wrong I always pay full price and tip as long as they do what I want , they disappointed me this time. He had more than 4 inches of hair for them to do this to me, also I spoke to a manager and he said that they were supposed to call me if they were going to shave him and they did not!! My dog AND my home is now infested with FLEAS!!!!!!

I have a short haired large/medium Belgain Shepherd who needed a bath, ear cleaning, nail trim, etc. Found the dog bath bundle for all $26 which was a great deal so i booked an appointment as soon and early as i could.

It was very busy that day & it took 4 hours for my dog to be ready to pick up. My dog was happy and loved the attention she received. But upon arriving home i noticed there was a lot of "left over hair" all over her body. When i brush her at home i never have that issue so i was concerned they didn't brush and bathe her right. I checked her underbelly and she still had dirt from the previous day at the park BEFORE I took her in. I also noticed my dog scratching herself but i thought it may have been the shampoo or something but i started getting bites and my boyfriend as well. My house, my dog, and my family is now INFESTED with fleas thanks to Petsmart Grooming. I say Grooming because I've NEVER had issues with the store staff or the store itself.
