Before I get into specifics, I want to speak of how utterly frustrated and irritated I am with my multiple shopping experiences here in general. I go to this store at least 3-4 times a week and it's always a constant hassle. It always makes me so nervous. If you don't want my business anymore then by all means continue being horrible. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. My #1 absolute biggest complaint is how many times I find prices on the shelf stickers that are different than what your own app (which your company highly encourages customers to use) or website show. Of course, they ring up at the higher price at the cash register. Some of your cashiers are more than happy to price match your OWN app/site right at the register so I know a cashier is lying when they say they can't price match at the register and that I have to go to the customer service area. It's not like I'm making them price match another company, it's your own app/site. But god dang, then I have to deal with all the constant price mistakes from your own shelf stickers. Many, many times I've taken pictures of prices because I think to myself "oh I bet that won't ring up right at the register" and sure enough it never does. And there are always tons of gift card offers that cashiers never seem to know anything about. And practically tied for #1 is the bagging situation. WHY ARE YOUR CASHIERS SO RELUCTANT TO BAG THINGS? We always, always, ALWAYS say "we want EVERYthing bagged please, and bagged LIGHTLY". These two things are important. Obviously cases of water bottles or cat litter aren't expected to be bagged, but even after saying this they constantly ignore our request and 1) don't bag things like milk or tide or bleach that will spill everywhere in our car and 2) stuff as much as possible in one bag. Why are they so stingy with the bags? I'm paying for them!! And how about when I bring my own bags but they CONSTANTLY and conveniently "forget" to give me the $.05 credit per bag. I ALWAYS have to remind them. Last week when I went, I had NINE bags and after reminding her, she only gave me credit for three. So I had to remind her I had nine bags. Another issue I have involves employees around the store. They seem to have no problem casually cussing when talking to each other. Is that really appropriate?
About tonight. I was irritated that I couldn't find half the stuff on my list because you didn't have it in stock. How does a store who wants to have a food section run out of eggs? Or bacon? The top of your aisle signs have cobwebs on them by the way, and it wasn't for decoration. But what made me royally mad was trying to check out of the store. It was impossible! There was only ONE register on a busy Saturday night that was open. That and self checkout which I couldn't use because I was buying wine/alcohol. So not only did I have multiple customers in front of me but the cashier kept having problems and had to turn on her problem-light and had to call someone over to fix things. You shouldn't only have one cash register open let alone one that was incompetent. It took me at LEAST ten minutes just to get to the cashier. How is...
Read more**A email I sent to the team lead 3 days ago. Still ZERO RESPONSE.
I wanted to reach out and see if you could possibly assist me with another issue I had at the store day before yesterday.
I spent about an hour and a half with your staff in the electronics department. We spent a great amount of time discussing the system I had at home the speed I was receiving for the Internet the type of Wi-Fi router I currently had and modem etc. I was very hesitant to make the purchase however the gentleman was extremely assertive and assured me that it would work perfectly fine with my system.
After getting home yesterday and having the opportunity to call a TNT which is our Internet provider, I learned that the staff was incorrect. Itâs not so much the fact that they were incorrect that bothers me as we are all human.
What bothers me is, the gentleman was so assertive I felt like I had to make the purchase because if I did not I wouldâve been wasting his time. I was very hopeful that it would work. I also learned that the reason it will not work is a very specific reason that something somebody on their first day on the job would know. And that is, you always have to have an AT&T modem for AT&T provided service. There is no way around that that has always been standard and a well-known rule according to AT&T and 2 Target associates I spoke to you today.
What has me reaching out to you is as follows: of course I was not thinking about the virus affecting the policy for your returns and it was never discussed with me during the conversation with the staff member, And I have made several comments about if it donât work I can just return it the next day right? And they assured me I was correct.
Fast forward to today I am writing you in requesting An exception be made due to the circumstances noted above. I am currently out 240+ dollars for this device that I purchased. The device and packaging have not been opened. It is the Google Wi-Fi system. I have the receipt and I would be very grateful if you could allow an exception to be made today for a return that way I can purchase the right equipment to allow Internet back on at my house for my kids to complete their schooling. an exception be made due to the circumstances noted above. I apologize for the long email however I thought based off the way you handled prior situations, you would like the facts and the information in front of you to assess the decision you will be making.
I would greatly appreciate a prompt response at your earliest opportunity. The way you handled the prior situation, is exactly why I am a returning customer to your store.
Thank you again for your time your effort and all work associated with this putting this to rest. Thank...
Read moreWho runs this place, monkeys!!?? Agree with Dennis Morgan about the price match deal!! I've also discussed this with the lead cashier there. I advised her that they need to all get on the same page. What is it with their awful customer service and raunchy management!! I guess they're doing well enough that they can afford to not be consistent and professional.
Speaking of unprofessional, even the so called security is rude and talks down to people. Really!?? Does he think that his position there makes him greater than thou!! One day, I parked in the red zone (leaving hazard lights on) to run in and ask if my phone had been found. He came at me like I owed him something and tried to escort me out like I was a criminal! He was a little boy!!! A White little boy with zero respect for his elders. There are other ways to address people and talk to people when you're trying to accomplish something, rather than taking a belittling approach. This little boy needs to learn that! I spend loads of money at this store, I do NOT need to be treated this way nor does anyone else who is not committing a crime.
When I shop, I like to take my time. I frequently have the need to use Target's restroom and they are ALWAYS disgusting!! It doesn't matter if I go in the morning, noon, night.... Always filthy!! They're little check off sheets are most times behind by hours! Once in a while, they're not but it's obvious that checks were not really completed or perhaps the workers just checked in to initial. Trash is always overflowing, floors and toilets filthy and they always stink!! Even Wmart has waaaay cleaner restrooms. Every single time I've gone to their store restrooms, immaculate!! Tonight, I finally brought it to the attention of the evening Hispanic manager on duty. She made no apologies but did say she'd have someone check on it. I've brought it cashier lead's attention before and she said the worker responsible was too busy trying to keep up with carts!! It was a very busy time that day but restroom hadn't been checked in 3 hours!!! They need to hire enough help and a janitor!!! I worked in retail and the janitor had very specific duties that were strictly janitorial!! What's up with this big store that reels in much money but fails at cleanliness. I will make it a point to try to lessen my need to come...
