Tammy at Nighten Day is unprofessional, rude and inconsiderate. If you plan on visiting Nighten Day and find your vehicle has been towed, be sure to thank Tammy for going out of her way to make sure her customers weren’t informed how to avoid it. As business owners we have a responsibility to maintain a professional tone and respect, not only for our customers, but for the neighboring businesses. As one of her neighbors, I and my staff have gone out of our way, on COUNTLESS occasions over many YEARS to PREVENT her customers from being towed, even though it is clearly NOT our responsibility. This has been met time and time again with childish vitriol. Unfortunately, Tammy seems to believe she is somehow special and her customers should be able to park ANYWHERE they choose, even in places where RESERVED signs are CLEARLY posted for another business. We have ZERO interest in going through the hassle of having vehicles towed, we have better things to do with our day. All we ask for is for a little consideration so our customers can park at our business. Unfortunately, Tammy has now made it CLEAR she no longer wishes for us to extend the courtesy to her customers of where her parking lot is located. As such, we will respect her wishes, and cease any further assistance. So, I say again, if you plan on visiting Nighten Day and find your vehicle has been towed, be sure to thank Tammy for going out of her way to make sure her customers weren’t informed how to avoid it.    Read moreI’d like to give a zero rating to these people. I dropped off a beautiful, like new pub table with two matching swivel stools for a billiard room that I paid $1500 for, along with two very nice rattan tables that were $250 each. I happened in there a month or so later to find the pub table gone but the stools still there. I asked Tammy about it and was informed that she sold the table but not the stools. I couldn’t believe it as it was a matching set. So exactly what I told her would happen – just did! She ended up giving them away for $20 a piece (since it was no longer a matching set) and sold the rattan tables for $40. I realize consigning is not a money making endeavor but anyone considering unloading their furnishings would be better off putting it on Marketplace or Craigslist. Or use it for firewood. Your “high end” furniture soon becomes their “low end”. What a sham - and an insult. Seller beware!
In your response to my review, I never received a contract which was supposed to be mailed out to me the following day. No way would I have agreed to those terms. I stand...
Read moreDo not take your consignment items here! They lost 2 chairs and a mirror. They have record the chairs and mirror being brought in to be sold, however they can’t find them now. I was asked if I had pictures of the chairs- well yes I do, they are on your Facebook page! Well, no matter, they are not responsible for lost items. I guess they just keep the money and we are out of luck. Oh well!
They threw a carpet out that got wet during the hurricane but didn’t know who it belonged to so they could not notify us. Their record keeping is archaic. The contract says they are not responsible for damaged items. Oh well!
All their excuses from they just “bought the business” to not our responsibility or not our fault because of the contract ...this all screams stay away from this...
