I recently started my health journey and I am trying different grocery stores that are more health oriented. Been to whole foods several times. I have ordered some groceries from Sprouts a few times but through DoorDash.
Yesterday, I decided to take my time and explore the store in person between 6-7PM and did some groceries.
When I got to the self serve cashier after scanning everything, the system asked me how many bags I was given, I got closer to the screen to read, not fully understanding, “the bags that were given” sentence, I pressed 0 for the next step so I could pay.
An In store cashier came from behind me and started to change something on my screen. She was an older lady, black and I believe the only cashier at the store.
She seemed a bit upset. She told me that I put 0 when I had 4 bags, she changed it to 4. I was surprised. I said, “So I have to pay for the plastic bags? “
She said in an aggressive and accusing tone “Yes you pay .10c each. And I saw you reading the note.” She pointed at a little note above the screen and then walked away.
I have never been to a store where I had to pay for plastic bags, so I genuinely didn’t know it was the store system, neither did I read the little note taped on a pole above the screen. The aggressiveness and the accusing tone were totally uncalled for.
It was my first time at Sprouts and It will definitely be my last time at your store.
Please train your employees to be more prone to inform about the store’s rules instead of assuming the customers should know. It’s unfair and...

Read moreDear Sprouts Customer Service, I am writing to share my recent experience at one of your stores, which left me very disappointed and unsatisfied. I have visited this location several times before and ordered sandwiches without issue. However, during my most recent visit, the employee who prepared my sandwich did not follow my order slip at all. I usually order both turkey and roast beef, which I have been able to do in the past, but this time I was told I could only have one. I also requested two different cheeses and extra meat with avocado. Instead, I received only roast beef, a single cheese, no extra meat, and avocado that was not ripe and inedible. To make matters worse, mustard was added even though I clearly requested no mustard. By the time I got home and realized the extent of the mistakes, I was left with a sandwich I could not enjoy. The quality and service fell far below what I expect from Sprouts, and I regret to say I will not be returning for sandwiches if this is the standard. I wanted to bring this to your attention because I truly value Sprouts and have had better experiences in the past. I hope this feedback can help improve consistency and service for...
