I’m a foodie so maybe I shouldn’t expect a whole lot from small businesses – but I do. Especially something like this. I ordered a burrito and everything that was wrong with this food has to do with temperature. The ground beef wasn’t hot enough to hold its own against the two cold, sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo, there was absolutely no heat to the meat by the time I was able to buy it into it so I was eating a tortilla filled with cold mushy condiments. The person that served me had a volume on her voice the only went up to about 2 1/2 apparently , which was drown out by the overly loud volume on the television. I’m sure they have good food, but I’m not sure how when the condiments temperature is too low and the meat temperature on the ground beef is also too low. You would think someone that serves food day and day out with those same and Gradients and condiments would have the temperature thing figured out. It’s very similar to eating sushi from Publix. That’s been sitting in the refrigerated area. Temperature is a big deal when it comes to food lol...I'm editing this in response to the reply. I'm FULLY aware of holding temperatures as I was Chef in Dallas, TX for 6 years. I didn't mention something that might be obvious but you have to take into consideration the amount of varied temperature ingredients that are mixed together. The amount of slightly too cold (I opened the burrito at my table and they were still a few degrees colder than they should have been) that were wrapped up with the much smaller amount of ground beef of course....completely dampened out the warm meat that i'm giving you the 150 degree benefit of the doubt. You say I ONLY ordered ground beef? Then it should be known if you only want a ground beef burrito (no other meat) and 3-4 toppings ..it's going to be COLD...? lol...simple fix from a former chef in a 4 star restaurant and food critic for the Dallas Observer.....and it will save you money. Don't put so much sour cream and guacamole and pico de gallo on there. The cold to meat ratio was way too high. It makes a bigger burrito but unless the condiments are room temperature or a little under it just makes a big, cold, gloppy burrito. I would have needed to pick 2 or 3 meats to get that to a "normal" burrito temperature. You even said it yourself....."no product can withstand so many cold temperatures"....so not as cold...less of them and a little warmer on the meat...it's about the ratio of cold to hot and it HAS to work ...to taste good....i'm sure it was just a one time thing and that much overly cold stuff isn't normally dumped onto a small amount of barely warm meatone more edit "sometimes the customer feels the taco or burrito is too cold"...and they get it fixed on the grill ...those are the ones that aren't too mild mannered to say something....if that happens more than twice you have to fix it....less cold to quash the warm is the key that fits in the hole Or just heat the entire thing a little to get that equilibrium that was FAR from achieved here...*NEW REPLY to your conversation you are having with me.......you get temperature balance by heating the entire product after you throw a bunch of cold on a little bit of warm. This should be common kitchen sense. Many of your low ratings are people saying the same things....I'll just ask...who wants a tortilla filled with TONS (overfilled if we are talking temperature balance) of cold sour cream/condiments...etc...to the point of making the only warm thing in there....COLD? I can't think of many people that would want a roughly 41 degree burrito. Am I right? I took the burrito out of the foil and was holding a coldish burrito....So take the entire thing and throw it on a grill and lid it....heat the final, rolled together product....do that on a 300-350 grill for about a minute and a half rolling it....and you won't have people complaining that it's...

First and last , if you are going to open in the am, you should have fresh food . Don't serve old rice and leftovers reheated. Came on Saturday at 11 . The rice was hard , like dried out hard, the container wasn't even it full , it was literally like yesterdays scraps , the steak had a weird gamey after taste, the texture of the chicken was like that chicken strips you can get in a bag that's precooked , ugh. I got a burrito 🌯, it was not fresh food. Don't open in the morning if you aren't going to serve fresh food. Total waste of my money . Such a disappointment 😞. This is a wanna be chipotle, at chipotle you get fresh food. I spent 19 bucks for a burrito with chicken and steak got up charge for the meat when I asked for half and half , it is what it is. You only get one chance to make a first impression. Annoyed I spent almost 20 bucks for one burrito and a bottle of coke zero , the burrito was terrible 😞 wish I could get my money back. ----THIS IS MY RESPONSE TO MANAGEMENT COMMENT BELOW👇👇👇_____$$$$$$
I can't believe you would argue with a customer. Do better, I said the rice wasn't fresh and it wasn't , period. I didn't have time to drive back to the restaurant for a refund, if the food was fresh to begin with we wouldn't be here. It's disparaging to be taken advantage of . I gave you my hard earned money and you couldn't careless to have some sort of quality standards serving OLD Yesterday rice . I read other reviews after your rude response , and looks like many other people had the same experience, pre packaged chicken, hard rice , etc . I don't go around writing false reviews or something, like what is your problem coming for me ?? Do Better !! You argued with other customers that you never advertised as a Mexican restaurant, THE NAME LITERALLY SAYS MEXICAN GRILL . obnoxious!! ANYWAYS LET ME RECONFIRM -The container that the food was being stored in wasn't even filled up , if the rice was fresh it would be filled like it was just cooked , it looked like it wasn't fresh . It was Hard ! The grains were hard. You are arguing with me ?? You shouldn't pick an argument with a person that ate at your restaurant and wasted their money . YOU GOT MY MONEY DIDN'T YOU ??? It wasn't cheap. I didn't eat it ! . YOUR RESPONSE THAT I WAS EATING IT AND WRITING A REVIEW IS SO RUDE . GET a GRIP and DO BETTER. So weird!! I read other responses you wrote, you are despicable. I didn't wake up in a bad mood ... The crappy burrito put me in a bad mood lol 😆 - You JUST MADE YOURSELF LOOK BAD with your response. THIS PLACE WON'T STAY IN BUSINESS.

Read moreThis place needs serious improvement if they want to cater to the demographic around this community. I have been here twice so far with 2 opposite Experiences. First: Courteoues behind the counter, a Very Generous Portion for a Bowl and very tasty with a positive, flavorful Food experience. Second: Absolutely Aweful! The music was so loud and pounding, I couldn't hear myself think. Now to the order whom was obviously a trainee, Everything in the bins looked Extremely dried out as if they were sitting a long time or not fresh. I wanted to go Vegan so I asked for a sample of Tofu and asked if it was sold much. She looked at me confused but did respond to any questions with the help of her trainer translating. The answer was No but I did ask for a sample and it was totally bland like a wet sponge so I opted out of that. This time my box was filled about 1/4 so where is the Consistency?? There is a language barrier here which is a problem when you are a new place trying to make it and you cannot understand what you're customers are asking questions about your menu can understand very little English. I will maybe give this place 1 more try and if I am disappointed like my last visit, there is no way I'm going back to spend my money. I really want this place to work out but because I am a supporter of small business but I am Hesitant on the freshness and portions for what I am paying because the food does seem coming in frozen, this is just Speculating. I don't see any Grill or kitchen staff as of food being prepared in the background. I do wish you success but change does...
