I came in to pick up a toner ordered for me that I paid for. Only to encounter the rude manager Olivia. They could not find my package and I was told that she couldn’t just let s walk out with $123 worth of the store’s product. She then went on to say that my package had been delivered to the store but because there was No signature, they had no way of knowing Shette the package was. I then requested to reorder my toner, which it had paid for, & was told no and that my only option would need to purchase the toner AGAIN and she would contact the help desk to process my refund! Mind you, there was a toner available on the shelves. She’s constantly interrupted me when I requested 3 times that she’s not interrupt me and completely hear me out, to no avail! I wanted her to understand that the channels in which Office Depot placed their in store orders should have no bearing on me and that all I wanted was the product I paid for and not made to feel criminalized for receiving what I paid for and let you guys figure out the channels used for your in line orders! I asked for the store manager realizing that she is the shift manager because the stores manager surely would’ve understood my issue. Why would I take the chance on losing an additional $123 with no guarantee I would receive my package that I HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR?? She then says that she’s the manager. Being in retail manager for over 30yrs I asked her who ‘em was the Store manager and she gave me his business card stating he would be in on Sunday. While waiting for them to find my package, e over heard her say he’d(Store z manager) was out the country. So now lies to my face! Unacceptable! I leave and State I’ll be tracking out to the actual Store Manager and leave. 35minutes later Olivia calls to say they found my package! Now it have to turn around to retrieve my package! Read moreThis store in my opinion provides great customer service. Whenever at the store can easily get assistance when I need it. When in the store, I am asked if I need assistance. If I enlist the assistance is polite and effective. If I don't need the assistance, I am permitted to find the item myself without interruption. In the 15 years, I have been going to this store have not had any issues with products purchased. Have purchased several computers, a Nighthawk router (which am very pleased with), office chair, and a myriad of office/computer supplies. Been pleased with most of my purchases at this store. In the rare occasion that I have needed to return an item, been able to do so without issues. Have used the copy desk at this store which has provided good customer service and satisfaction. This store tech desk is also exceptional--have found the techs at this store to be knowledgeable and reasonable. Have used the tech desk services several times for computer-related questions and issues. My questions/issues have been answered/resolved. No hard selling of items or plans. This store seems run well and has employees that have been working there for some time which, in my opinion, reflects well on the store. Read moreOn Saturday June 30, 2018, I went to Office Depot’s College Station location to inquire about what would be an easy service by an employee in the print and copy department. I simply needed the employee to insert information on a pre-printed certificate. Firstly I was told that she could not do print the information because she couldn’t possibly line up the wording correctly on the certificate. Secondly, when I asked if she could then create a certificate, I was informed that there would be a 24 hour turnaround time to complete this action. However, the sign in the department clearly states that a job request entered prior to 2PM was guaranteed completion within 2 hours or before store closing. After being talked to rudely by the customer service person in the department, I left the store and went down the street to Cooy Corner. Copy Corner personnel completed my order within 10 minutes and was courteous and very professional. Courteous and professional are not adjectives I would use to describe Office Depot’s employees.
