Witt's End — Local services in College Station

I have never experienced someone as rude as this in customer service. I wasn’t even given the chance to give them business before my mom, aunt, and I were met with the most disgusting attitudes from two employees. Their booth at a shopping event was near the stage, where kids were performing dance routines and they had drawn quite a crowd! There was no way around their booth since there were so many people around, so we were shopping and looking as we passed through to the next row. One woman blocked my aunt’s path and told her to leave because "the booth is not a cut through, is for customers only, and she needed to leave.” I’m not sure how or why she assumed that, as women always walk and look around to shop (not sure there’s any other way to do that, either) but she kept us from being able to look in her store whatsoever. Another employee asked my mom, who had passed through but was unfortunately not interested in buying anything, "if she was really shopping.” News flash, no one can purchase anything if they aren’t allowed to look or be in your vicinity, and no one will want to buy from someone with literally no decency. Love love love the clothes--fashionable, flattering, nice materials without being budget busting (for the most part)! And the best thing about Witt's End is there's nothing else like it in College Station, and they offer this wonderful personal shopping service--The Box--where Witt's End's Lauren Sanders (among others) takes your preferences/profile online, packs up a box full of fashionable goodies (including even accessories like jewelry, scarves, and shoes), and delivers it right to your door! She's amazing at understanding and taking into account your likes and dislikes, and you get to try on the clothes in the privacy of your home--with no one pestering you--and you can return the things you don't want and only get charged for those you keep! My family is new to College Station; we had a San Francisco wedding to go to shortly after we arrived, and I had nothing to wear until Lauren sprang into action! Can't recommend them...

We stopped in to shop for my mom’s birthday gift and when we walked in the sales associate couldn’t be bothered to greet us, she instead called out for someone else to do it.
