This theater is really nice inside with comfy recliner seats and various theater options to pick from and a full concession menu that includes meals and alcohol. Tickets are reasonable for how nice it is and cheaper than other options. It's in a kinda hidden location behind a strip mall. Never crowded. Could improve on cleanliness and customer service a bit though.
One time our seats were covered in sticky dried soda, so we had to hunt down a staff member to wipe them down and even then the worker did not get them fully clean. Frequently, there is pop corn or other food crumbs on chairs. Looks like they don't clean much between shows. I was also annoyed that we can't use our rewards card when buying tickets online.
My worst experience here was a night when the power went out twice during our movie. This wasn't the theater's fault, but I felt they could have handled this inconvenience better. After the first outage, we waited like 10ish min before an employee came in to tell us it would restart when power went back on. After about 15 min, the movie restarted, but a few min ahead of where we left off. We watched another 15 min before it was stopped and rewound to where we left off. While I'm glad they backed it up to where we left off, so we could see all of it, it was irritating this happened after we'd watched 15 min, so we had to rewatch that part after seeing the 2 min we missed. Then about 30 min after movie had resumed, the power went out again. This time, a staff member came in fairly soon and told us movie would resume from where we left off in about 20-30 min. Both times it stopped, we were given the choice to take a free movie voucher and leave or stay. We didn't want to have to rewatch 2/3 of the movie again later, so we stayed. After 30 min, the screen starts showing all the pre-movie adds. We thought we were just waiting for the staff to get around to hitting play again. Well, then about 15 min after the ads played, the previews start like it was starting over from beginning. My husband got up and found staff outside and was told it's being restarted for the next show time and we can either stay and rewatch it or take the voucher and leave. At this point, he asked for a refund and we left because we didn't want to rewatch over an hr of this movie we already watched. We were very unhappy they lied telling us it would play from where it left off in 30 min only to restart it without telling us that was now happening. This wasted like 45 min of our time bc we would have left sooner knowing it was restarting. In all, we spent 3 hrs trying to watch an 80 min movie and didn't even get to see the last 20 min. I felt like this level of bad experience warranted a bit more to compensate beyond just a refund...like maybe give a free food voucher too and apologize for how poorly this was handled.
My other issue with service here was someone started smoking pot in the theater at the end of the last movie we saw here and was stinking up the theater. This was not stopped by any staff members monitoring the show. Never in my life have I been to a movie where someone got away with smoking anything inside the theater.
I've been here like 20 times and overall this is our favorite theater in the area, but they could improve on cleanliness and customer...
Read moreThis place is awesome. We have not been to the movies since….well along time. We don’t like crowds or lines so we chose a matinee. First was the parking was plentiful and seemed safe due to the amount of traffic coming and going as well as it was laid out well. Second the front desk staff were awesome. Samantha was friendly professional helpful and tolerant of our lack of knowledge about the theater. The ticket prices were good. Somewhere around $10 per person. Next were the snacks. This is where the theater makes money so we don’t complain about the prices provided we got acceptable quality. The popcorn was good. Extra butter was expertly applied We opted for the bucket of popcorn it was more expensive but refilles are only $5 for the rest of 2024 so I washed them and put them in the family element. We also got buckets of soda and free snowcaps. The cost of these items were high but we really understand that. 1 bucket of popcorn and the huge soda along with the snowcaps cost $27 The concession staff were also really good at what they were doing. There is a pretty good selection of other items to choose from as well as bottles of beer to buy but I wasn’t in the mood and I was with the kids so not today. Next was the theater itself. The seat were awesome. Large easy chairs with plenty of room little swing out tables. Plenty of room side to side and the best leg room i have ever had in a venue of this type. Two small problems with the theatre were. You could hear some outside noise like loud car exhaust and there was a good bit of bleed over from theatre 3 to the right showing aquaman. We’re watching the Boy and The Heron in theatre 2. The restrooms were also very clean and stocked and close to the theatre. With a bucket of soda this was a good thing. The movie screen was excellent the theatre was clean and smelled fresh and the volume was great. All in all my faith in movies has been restored. We will be returning. See you for inside out 2 kungfu panda 4 and any other new releases that interest us. Oh. Older films are also featured here like escape from New York or red. Some movies are just better to see on a big screen. Currently none of these movies interest us but they change often so we will stay tuned for them. It was a super experience
Current update! The second visit! Saw Godzilla -1 in monochrome and it was awesome! While the movie was great the venue was also outstanding. The popcorn buckets were refilled for $5+tax each as promised with extra butter also expertly applied by Heven. As for the folks working tonight the blonde lady working the ticket counter was very personable. The young man on the crutches was also pretty good but the star of the night was Heven. She was absolutely brilliant. Our family is really grooving the vibe of...
Read moreI'd like to forewarn any readers this may come across as scathing. Staff is great. Management is not. Popcorn is subpar.
Me and my girlfriend stopped by today for a movie. Initially the experience was very pleasant, an older gentleman gave us our tickets and was very funny and charismatic. The minute we got to the food court to order popcorn and a soda things became odd. A younger lady took our order, but was stopped by a manager (I assume as he wore a sort of suit and had a button down shirt), who proceeded to then correct her on her hair being down in front of us. This in and of itself wouldn't be an issue if the tone and verbiage he used was befitting of a manager, instead, he was curt at best, and dismissive / seeming to aim to embarrass her at worst. Having been a manager myself at multiple points in my life, I empathize with the young lady as the way the situation was handled was horribly unprofessional. In the future, as I'm sure someone will read this, issues with your staff ought to be handled in private, with tact and consideration, after the situation has passed. Not during and in front of your guests.
We then got into the theatre and began to wait for our movie to begin where my girlfriend discovered a hair in her popcorn. Working in food service myself I'm understanding of mistakes like this happening and went back to ask for a new bag of popcorn. A helpful blonde lady was very apologetic and assisted me in the company of the manager, who didn't utter a word or acknowledge the situation, but was within earshot.
Upon returning to the theatre my girlfriend found yet another hair. It was at this point I decided to write the review.
It's one thing for a simple mistake to be made regarding hair in food, and while we were given another, finding hair twice is inexcusable. At the very least emulating a guise of consideration (emptying the popcorn and making new popcorn) would have been the proper thing to do. If not for quality of service, then according to food safety regulations.
Overall I feel for the staff who work there. Most of my experiences have been pleasant, if not with little bumps here and there. Fortunately there are many movie theaters wherein the food is better and the staff isn't...
